Carnival Celebration Cruise Review 2024: The Truth!

As I mentioned in another comment, my sister and I spent two weeks on board Celebration on a B2B last January. We've been cruising Carnival since 2010 and it's sad to see how service has gone downhill through no fault whatsoever of the actual staff, but just by them being so short-staffed. I believe they all want to, and try their best, to do a great job but they just have an insurmountable task. Our room was clean, but there really weren't very many stand out staff in the entire two weeks. They were just too busy. We had a suite on deck 9, and while the room itself was pretty awesome, do watch out where your balcony is. Hands down the worst balcony we've ever had and we are opting for coves on our upcoming Jubilee cruise. No shelter above, totally a fishbowl for the entire ship above and below. Most of the food was great, but that said, we never once ate in the MDR but opted for the upcharge and included other restaurants. We did Maya Chan too, and will be going back in January! We have a little stop in Roatan, that I actually won't mention here because currently we never see another cruise passenger while we're there :) Overall, it was a pretty epic voyage, but I am in general a fan of the smaller ships and wish Carnival would give them a little love and update. Thanks for your vids, and I plan to watch the rest of the series. Helps pass the 107 days till the next one for us! Oh, sorry for the long post, but have to mention I'm also a huge fan of visiting YOUR country and hope to be back there soon too. I love England. Dang, just to make it even longer, have to come back with an edit about Bolt. It being closed seems to be a trend, or at least it was the beginning of '24. It was closed for nearly a month before our cruise, but luckily it came back online the week we boarded. I'm sorry you missed it, it was a blast!
