Hi Frank! Thank you for watching and thank you for your question! .... In my experience, the bartenders have made things that I asked for that were not on the menu. Another example in this video, was when I asked the bartender at the Alchemy bar to just make me up something "strong and tasty" so he mixed up his own recipe that was not on the menu.. that drink was still covered with my CHEERS package. many people give the cheers package flak but honestly even though a bit expensive i like the peace of mind it offers me knowing i dont have to worry about how much i am spending on drinks daily, not to mention am a huge coffee and soda fannatic so in my personal case i get my moneys worth , for light drinkers or those not into soda or coffee it may not be worthwhile but i find it is personally.
Cheers is a total ripoff. On an 18 day cruise, the discounted 10% price before gratuities for a couple is $2,158 dollars. Then there’s the 18% additional. 😮
You would definitely want to use your 15 drinks per day limit each day to get your money’s worth… and for 18 days straight!!?? That could be quite expensive 😬😅 Thanks for watching and for your comment though!!

Great video. Very informative. I have a question…they say any drink up to $20….would I possibly be able to get a double shot and it be considered 1 drink?
Hi Honey Bunz! Thank you for checking out our video 🤗 Unfortunately, no double shots as they are considered ordering two drinks at once. What I would do is order the main drink.. sip it just a little for 5 minutes to make room for an extra shot.. then order your extra shot after the required 5-minute wait time.. then add the shot myself. and remember, you can order a drink with top-shelf liquor in it by request, just double check with the bartender that your price of the drink wouldn't exceed $20.. most of the time it won't.

Loved this vlog thank you for that. This will be my 3rd cruise in February, never had a good obc. This time its $500 do you know if i can purchase the cheers thru it, i normally pay only cash. I read places u can once on ship but its more, than others i heard u can book it early im confused

You sure can use the $500 OBC towards the CHEERS drink package!! We have done that before. Option one is yes, you can wait until you are onboard and purchase the CHEERS package... but option two, you can purchase it on Carnival's website prior to boarding which will give you a 10% discount. On the website add the CHEERS drink package to your cart for that particular sailing (that you have the $500OBC for) and at checkout you can use the option to pay with your onboard credit. YAY! Hi Tina! 😊 This bar and drink review was on the Carnival Horizon which is a Vista Class Ship.. others in this class would be the Carnival Panorama and the Carnival Vista. I believe these three ships would have the same layout. There are all together 27 cruise ships in the Carnival fleet and 9 different classes of ships with different layouts. Loved the video!! Just wondering if the straws were any good? The last cruise we went on they had the "new" edible ones and they wouldn't last an entire drink without getting soft, my wife hated them. Just wondering if she should bring her own or not, she tends to sip her drinks. Thanks!!

The trick is to drink your drink so quickly that you’ve finished before it has a chance to get soggy. 😂😂 I do like how they taste though, and the kids eat them like candy lol. Let your wife know that she should bring her own straws. When are you guys sailing?

Hello! Thank you for watching! Different bars stay open until different times...it will tell you in the Fun Times or on your Carnival Hub app. Usually, the casino bar is open late (4:00am), as well as the nightclub (After midnight), and sometimes the piano bar if it's lively. We found, on the Carnival Horizon, that the Guy's Pig & Anchor Brewhouse was where we went after all of the other bars closed (After midnight), they were open till 2:00am. If there is a late-night comedy show going on after midnight, you can get drinks there. Oh and don't forget, you can get beers at the pizzeria that stays open till 4:00am. I hope this helps out.

The Milkshakes, specialty coffee, energy drinks, sodas and everything else non-alcoholic are UNLIMITED every day and do not go towards your 15 drink per day count... except the "spiked" milkshakes and coffee (alcohol added). Each spiked drink counts as a drink with your 15 per day. If no alcohol is added, have as many as you like with no limit (with a 5 minute wait time in between ordering another). I hope this helps. 😊
