Just got off Carnival Venezia in July. Main dining was a big disappointment. Crew did not ask if we wanted parm cheese, no butter with our bread, food was not served with any eye appeal at all. Everything I ordered was not good. Hopefully with the new menu will bring those finer details back. We never even got offered coffee with dessert... marketplace buffet was a better option.
Thank you for showing us the menu. I’ve always liked Carnival’s food. I’m Platinum with both Carnival and Princess, I like the food better on Carnival. Thanks again for great video .
That’s because…. While obviously the food has a lot to do with the chefs…. If you hang out on the docks, you will see Carnival uses good, name brands (Obama steaks, dole fruit, etc), while many other lines, especially Royal Caribbean, use generic brands. My son is a trained chef (CIA graduate) and has been fortunate to see behind the scenes on several lines…. He tells me the ingredients make all the difference. I’ve never been on any other line, but I have been out on the docks for several lines and it does make sense to me.
How about I’ll be on the Magic on Oct 9. The new menu starts on it a couple of weeks AFTER my cruise. It’s all good. I already have 3 cruises booked for 2024.
