I was just looking at the bills, Flights, cruise, all you can drink and excursions it was roughly $1500 +/- . Its not cheap, but as far as a 6 day vacation goes, not to bad. Especially when you consider that all your food is covered. It was not my choice to go on this, it was a family gift to my old ladies 80 year old parents. We had to save up a while for it.
I did not chose the cruise line, but it was not horrible. We were calling it the Walmart of the Seas. I had never heard of MSC until I saw one of their ships in port.
You have taken a good amount of cruises in my life and I love them. Took carnival once and will never do it again lol. Royal Caribbean and Norwegian where it's at in my book.
I think I have been on 4 now. 2 of them on Royal Caribbean, 1 was so long ago I don't remember but I think it might have also been RC and the one I just went on. I did not choose this last cruise or the cruise line we were on. We were calling this Carnival The "Walmart of the Seas" 🤣

I've been on a few cruises and absolutely loved them! All with MSC, all with a balcony. The logistics of boarding and unboarding thousands of people is pretty slick considering the numbers involved. An international adaptor is what you need for all your electrics 👍 I only bought the drinks package once but it wasn't worth it. We never paid for any excursions either and just used local transport etc and saved a fortune. Great video 👍👍

Some of the things I wanted to do could only be done through the official excursions, like the brewery. The brewery isn't open to the public until late afternoon on the weekdays so they only way i could go was on an official excursion.
I have been on a few. They can be a lot of fun. It is a great way to check out a few spots in a short amount of time to see if you want to spend more time there.
