I was a carnie and I can win bank a ball and tubs whenever I go to carnivals. I've never seen the hoop game in my day I think it was banned a few years ago.
I went to the carnival and asked the man at the bucket game if he could leave a ball in the bucket and he said no. He asked if we wanted to play I said no and moved on. I know he didn't care because he was going to get more people but he kept giving me a look after I told every person thinking about playing that the game is rigged don't play. THANKS TO THIS VIDEO IT HELPED ALL THOSE KIDS AND ME SAVE THEIR MONEY :)
Every year the DA used to walk around the local fair and say the games were legal. I wonder how much they were kicking back to the DA? Just search carnival supplies and you will see just how much those stuffed animal cost. You pay $3 to play for a stuffed animal that cost the carnies no more then .75 cents.
i think they did explain it. when you "practice", they leave one ball in to absorb the energy of the other balls so they stay in. when its time to play for real, they take out that first ball and any ball you try to throw in will bounce the hell outta there lol
I used to work for Thorpe Park (uk) and even though the odds were mostly against you it could be done and a lot of people won. The ball in the bucket for instance needs to be thrown at an angle not directly. I'd say fairs are the worst for cheating it.
***** really good sir *tips fedora* well obviously you are angry and confused about life maybe come join us over in r/atheism we will surley be able to pin point the exact causes of your temper issue. are you by nay chance finding it difficult to deny god?
The bushel basket is the game the first that man was describing and if you watch it again sometime he was not standing sideways that's the first mistake second mistake the last game he was showing that he called the Hoops game is the pits to you win and when he was holding the ring he was holding it on an angle the block would be longer on an angle not flat when he holds it on from the back he's holding the ring flat when he puts it on it he's holding it crooked
I'm still not sure on the bucket ball game. k remember that shit took it from me when I was a kid. I don't understand what he meant the ball dents it? or is it just the ball?
This is why I always go for the water shooting games, balloon pop or the one where the person tries to guess your age. I win these almost every time. :D
I actually won a pocket bike with 10$ in Wildwood, New Jersey on the first game. All you have to do is shoot with the ball rolling off your fingers in order to get a few inches of extra distance. I got 2/2 and man did that guy look mad... didn't even ring the bell. Tried to go back the next day but he told me to fuck off.
I won that rebound game the first time I played it. Tossed in 10 dollars for 2 balls, walked away with a giant Knuckles from Sonic. Also played the game where you toss the softball into the jug that has a hole the size of the ball, walked away with a giant stuffed tiger hanging over my 14 year old body. I'm pretty good at these games.
thats not how the bank a ball game works.... you just have to make sure the ball is traveling upwards when it hits the board, its about angles... ive won tons of these things at kings island :)
@trueshadow64 no shit, my nephew (11 yrs old) is the KING at carny games. he's so good, when i see prize i want, i give him the money to win it. (usually takes only 1 to 2 tries) one time at the fair, this guy had a ps3 in the bucket ball game. he said "win 3 times in a row and win it". Carter won 2 times. like 30 ppl started watchin him he was doin so good. he made it the 3rd time. carny said he was over the line, so he didnt win. everybody stormed the carny. 1 hr later, Carter got his ps3.
yesturday I actually won first try at the basket game. The trick is that you have to hit the side of the basket. The women was so mad at me that I won the big prize. she even started making up rules when I got my first shot in. It didnt matter because I got my second shot in and won a big hippie banana
WKRG, do you think the folks that staff these Midway games are laughing all the way to the bank as their clientele are unable to "win" their games? Of course not. Everyone knows these games are rigged, but we all still go and have a blast. Though I do envy you, if this is the most pressing matter worth your coverage in the Mobile market.
Everyone who does these games knows it's not worth the money and that it is hard to win. However the reason they do it is because it's fun and challenging, and if u do win you got something to show off about as a joke etc.
The reason I don't play carnival games is not only are they fixed, but I have no interest even winning the prize. No sense trying to win something you don't want.
