What an EPIC day!!! I don't know why but I got so emotional when you were with the dolphins!! And then again with those beautiful birds! Dolphins are my spirit animal and I used to have love birds as pets so I guess it just brought up a lot of memories. The day I get to go to Amber Cove, i WILL be doing this excursion! So fun!

That dolphin encounter was the BEST! l loved how it spent time with you while you were feeding it. I've always wanted to do something like that, but I doubt I ever will, so I am SO glad you shared it with us! Thank you!! That baby dolphin was TOO CUTE!! I I've loved dolphins ever since I watched Flipper as a kid on TV. remembered those "bird trees" from the sneak peek - SO pretty - reminds me of some Christmas cards I've seen - birds lining all the branches. :) OMG - You had so MANY of them on you! :) Ocean World is a really, really cool place!! We are booked for this tour on our June 2022 cruise. I am beyond excited. I can't help notice no one had on glasses (when swimming with the dolphins.) Do you have to give up your glasses along with jewelry? I won't be able to see! Taking our teen sons and so glad to find your video! My youngest son's favorite animal in the world is a sea turtle. Did they have them there?

It was amazing! There were a few excursions available for Ocean World, there was one that took you to each exhibit with a swim or interaction at each! Pricey but looked amazing, it sold out very quickly so if you want to do that you might book it soon! Our specific excursion sold out on the ship after the Fun Aboard Fun Ashore show. We did Ocean World and swam with dolphins, sharks and sea lions. IT WAS AMAZING! Not only the experience with the sea life but the staff were awesome. We will do this over and over when we visit the DR!

Hi Favor and Rob. That was a GREAT excursion, but for me the turtles win out only because I’ve swam with 🐬 before . That was a great area for the dolphins when I swam with them it was a much smaller enclosure I believe in st Thomas about 12 years ago . Loved the birds also. Thank you for sharing this with us . Would you know the difference between the VIP and regular? The description really only highlighted lunch included as the major difference?

Hi! Usually lunch is the difference. You can call your Carnival PVP or just the shore excursion department with Carnival and they will clarify for you. We had lunch included in our excursion. When we booked the VIP was the only choice still available so I was not able to compare options. We were there quite some time so if you don’t have any food allergies or restrictions I recommend having lunch. They did have a large snack store on site as well (chips, drinks, candy etc). Sorry I can’t be more sure in my reply. Hugs!

Hello thanks for your video very informational. I booked this excursion as well. Before going I want to know if you all felt it rushed at all. I seen some complaints about that. And also did you have time to experience Ocean World on your own, or did you have to stay with your tour guide the whole time?

Hi. I did not feel rushed but they do move you from venue to venue so that you have time to experience everything. At the end you do have time on your own. Have fun!

YES! There is a bridge/boardwalk walkway that runs behind the beach area we had our encounter. At the time of our excursion they let people stand on that bridge/boardwalk and watch - that can always change. If you stop the video at timestamp 6:13 you can just make out the walkway behind us, you can see the entire encounter from there. It is far but not so far you can't see. I am sure they won't allow you to video. Have so much fun, it was an amazing day!

Hi! With the dolphins I could always stand and touch the bottom. I never had to swim. When the dolphin pushed me through the water I was holding the floating wake board. And I was wearing a life vest the entire time. Hope this helps you! It was an amazing excursion and we would do it again! Hugs!

These poor diminished worlds that these animals live in are terrible. Not passing judgement but please take some time to research Aquariums and Marine Parks and how negatively it impacts marine life.

Hi, we researched a lot before we booked this tour. On the screen and linked in the video description is their Humane Certification. With as much animal rescue and fostering as I have done, of course we researched the facility. Not all aquariums and Marine Parks are bad, I know this because I have done my research.
