Welcome to Nanortalik Greenland, join us as we take a walk around this small but interesting town, this is the fist of two towns in Greenland that we visited on this cruise.
Nanortalik, formerly Nennortalik, is a town in Nanortalik Island, Kujalleq municipality, southern Greenland. With 1,185 inhabitants as of 2020, it is the eleventh-largest town in the country. The name Nanortalik means "Place of Polar Bears" or "Place Where the Polar Bears Go".

This is bucket list destination for me. It’s great when cruisers get out of their comfort zone of tropical and warm places to explore polar maybe-unpopular regions. Thanks for giving me preview of 🇬🇱

Great video! Thank you for sharing! Greenland is on my bucket list, so I was looking at the road surfaces to see if it would be accessible for my mobility scooter. Questionable in a few spots but looks doable!!

Thanks, and thanks for watching and supporting the channel 👍🏿 , yeah, I think you would be ok , this was the 1st of 2 towns we visited in Greenland, gonna start editing the 2nd town soon, I think the roads are much more doable in the 2nd town , the issue I think would be a problem is that it’s a tender operation in both of those ports, and carnival was only allowing mobility scooters or chairs that were collapsible or folding, but that could change, or it could be different if another cruise line goes to Greenland.

Lol, actually the weather was nice, it was in the upper 40’s to low 50’s that day , it was cold when I was at the front of the ship as we were cruising into Greenland early in the morning, that was the first stop in Greenland, the next stop was a bit warmer , thanks for watching 👍🏿
