I love the concept of the new elevators...people just need to use them correctly. You need to hit the floor button for EACH person in your party as the new system is set up for max 10 people per elevator....if a party of 8 hits it one time and gets on, then the system thinks there is only 1 person on and will continue to go to other floors til it gets to the number of people programmed for.

Hi Ryan, that makes sense but we still can’t stand it lol. It’s just the two of us going to the same floor. While we stand and wait for our elevator to open five other elevators are opening at different times. I guess we just like options. Carnival must’ve realized this concept wasn’t very great because the next ship that came out after the panorama it was the Mardi Gras and it doesn’t have this system in place. maybe it just takes some getting used to, we are on vacation so we shouldn’t be in a hurry 😉

That depends on your reasoning for going on a cruise. If it’s to get the best price usually going during hurricane season you’ll get better pricing. If it’s going when they’re busy and there’s a lot more going on I would say April through July. Again it all depends on the reason for going.

Which do you prefer ? Radiance or Panorama?

Hi Boil Oil, Shug says she likes carnival panorama because it’s a bigger ship. I like Carnival Radiance better, one because I can’t stand the elevators on carnival panorama and 2 Radiance has Shaq’s chicken. Thank you for the question and let us know which ship you like better
