P.S. If you’re looking for some sweet Buck Island snorkeling footage, you might be able to find some here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z37luclXR1o.html
I totally understand that struggle of making quality content after the rum punches!! I'm so happy that I'm Dee's favorite!! 😄Oooo - busted trying to get all the footage through security - "you need to close the camera NOW!" said with a smile!
I'd forgotten you two went to St. Croix, but I'm so glad I'm re-watching this (and the - um - "extra" one), because our cruise planned for Nov. 2021 (which used to be March 2020, then moved to Nov. 2020, then lifted & shifted!) now shows the itinerary, and St. Croix is listed as our Day 3! I'm hoping that by then, we won't be restricted to cruiseline excursions so that we can use Caribbean Sea Adventures and do what you did. Excited!!
Oh nice! Yes, we were supposed to be heading back to St. Croix in January and just wanted to hop off the ship and explore the free beach at the port, but that didn't seem like a possibility with the new requirements in place. Buck Island was a great place to explore though!!
hey guy's just saying hi again, love your video's, this is awesome getting a new one each day. Glad you always have such a great time. Keep posting please, I live through your video's till I can get on my next one. Thanks again. PS when I am watching this you are on the Sunshine. we went on the sunshine in Feb of this year, loved the ship had a great time, hopefully you will too.
Great to see St Croix making a comeback. I went about 13 years ago as a short midnight fuel stop on RCCL. A little scary with the police armed with assault rifles, but there was a Cruzan rum booth with samples and the locals even threw a parade. Looks like I'll need to visit before it gets too commercialized
Hi Dee and Jay!!! We will be in St.Croix in May on the Celebrity Equinox.... this will be our first Celebrity Cruise as we have only cruised Carnival... we love Carnival but are excited to try something else and wanted a great itinerary:).... Which Buck Island snorkel package did you do with Caribbean Sea Adventures?? And would you do thus exact package again? Looking to book our excursion in St. Croix:). Also... the rest of our ports are St. Thomas, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Barbados and Antigua.... any suggestions for excursions???? Thanks! And Rock On!!! You 2 are so cute:)
We ended up on their "Snorkeler's Paradise" option, which was awesome. They were super helpful at guiding folks who needed more guidance in the water, while allowing the strong snorkelers to do their own thing. We'd love to get back over to Buck Island, despite the strict commercial video regulations, ha ha... We haven't been to St. Lucia though we do have it in our future, and we've only done Antigua once so we're not a ton of help there yet. If you're in the Havensight dock at St. Thomas, we enjoyed just strolling around the mall and heading up to Paradise Point for some amazing views, even though it's like $20/pp to ride the tram up there. Lots of folks say hit Magen's Bay or Sapphire Beach, and we did get to Sapphire Beach on the Sunshine. We've done our official "port guide" video on St. Maarten already, but if you've never been, a good island tour is always in order... see the French side, get over to Maho Beach and see the planes... but there's always the free beach there at the port if you want a low cost day. Barbados, we really enjoyed our Jolly Roger excursion this last time, ha ha... it helps if you're a strong snorkeler, but I had a blast staying on the pirate boat and drinking way too many rum punches... :P Folks suggest the Boatyard area in Barbados, and that's close to where we were when we went there on the Breeze, and that was a nice beach area for sure.
Hello Jay just plugged in my Black Friday Roku 4K streaming stick , after all the sign in faff Am I seeing you in better definition I think so , mind you my Rum and cokes are kicking in so life looks so much better anyway 🥳🥳🥳
An amazing way to see the US and British Virgin Islands is to do what I did in year 2000, rented a 50' Trawler boat and island hopped for 10 days. Magical and tons of local experiences. Virgin Islands are amazing.
I went to Buck Island in ‘67. I have no memory of how we got out there. Must have been a boat. Snorkeledfor 2 hours. My back felt like I burned but i was so tanned that it wasn’t red.
