I've been on The Pride 3 times years ago. Yes it's an older ship and diffently needed to be updated. We loved this ship because of its size ans convenience of going out of Baltimore. I've watched videos of the new renovation and it looks nice. Of course will not look like the newer ships. Glad they got rid of the orange decor in cabins.
My husband and I got engaged in the front of the ship in 2013. Took our first son on his first cruise on the pride 2019. Now taking our second son on his first pride cruise in 2 weeks
This was the ship that started it all for my family. My mom went on her with my aunt and just HAD to get her daughters on one after that. My son just booked his first cruise on his own with his girlfriend. I love these old girls. I'm sad to see they took away small bits to add more cabins though. That's the best thing about the Spirit class. Out of all the fleet, they have more space per passenger than any other...or did at least. You can't beat the social vibe on a smaller ship!
That "library" is a little disapponting -- a bookcase looking like it's randomly placed in a hallway. It's great they have anything at all, of course & I will bring a book or two to leave when I pick something new to read. Thanks so much for the tour - we're going on the Pride in December!
Love the sunset garden. Been on Pride 6 times always loved it. I love taking a coffee and sit there. It is used as a walkway for some crew who live in front.

I am so glad I saw this 😮 after all the Tik Toks 😂showing a old boat this just gave me and my daughter confirmation that we will be booking our cruise out of Baltimore for February. I was so worried that there was not a enclosed pool and then we would not be able to swim on the cruise being that we are coming from Baltimore so it’s gonna be very cold in February.
good tour, we've been on the Pride many times, good to see the reno, disappointed they eliminated the Card room in favor of another shop, but I do like your tour! Now I am prepared for our next cruise in a few weeks.

Awesome tour, Zach. I really enjoyed it. I was on the Pride last December and went thru the Panama Canal. I was disappointed in the ship as it was so dark. Even the Christmas decorations were dark and blended in with the dark decor. They have done a great job renovating the ship. So nice and bright. Big improvement. Thank you for the great tour. Thank you for this very informative video. I have been on many Carnival ships . I have not been on this one . However we have it booked for June 2024. We are supposed to go out of Baltimore MD . However with the recent collapsing of the Key Bridge it is more likely we will be leaving from Norfolk Virginia.
We'll be going on her in January to the Panama Canal with family. Will be my fourth Carnival Cruise yet only their second ship, lol. Glad we have another choice out of Tampa rather than just the Paradise (which we do enjoy).
So they "renovated" the ship by taking out some activity areas for more cabins and sales spaces. They even took out TV screens at the sports bar and the entire bar area in the casino. Not an improvement in my eyes

Do you know if all Carnival Pride ships are newly renovated? We are planning to cruise out of Baltimore in November, but I just read a few reviews that reported the ship being "dated" and beat up.
Are Kids allowed to go on Lido deck? I heard you say in the Video that Serenity Deck was for Adults only but how about Lido? We are going in June of 2024
@@ZachtheTravelingMan is this the ship that had engine trouble this past spring? It had to return I believe to Germany to have the repairs completed. Have they got it fully repaired before coming back to the US for the upcoming fall sailings? I have been on a ship that was apparently overhauled the winter before we booked onto it for August, and it broke down twice, once before we boarded for our cruise and after only a full day of sailing, the first port and the. Trying to continue we had to turn back to our port we had just left from, only to have the sailing cancelled, and chaos from that point on! 😢
Religious conservatives demanded the statue of David be removed from the steakhouse and I find that to be highly disturbing. Those idiots can’t handle any form of culture. Can’t believe carnival obliged, maybe because the ship sails out of FL & TX. Makes me sick.
Imagine being triggered by something as trivial as the removal of a statue. You'd get along well with the people protesting the removal of Southern Civil War statues. Birds of a feather...
How do you know it was due to complaints by religious conservatives? Why are you so angry on here calling people idiots? Is that really necessary? I wish they'd kept the cute little Chapel and the Library/game room. For the record, the Pride also sails out of Baltimore. I'm glad that it is back in Baltimore, which is much closer to my home state of VA.
