We booked the cheapest room on the Carnival Radiance. We had the pleasure of cruising to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico for a 4 night cruise. We explored and enjoyed almost everything the Carnival Radiance has to offer. Even after rumors of Carnival Cruise Line being labeled "ghetto" we wanted to sail and experience it for ourselves. We absolutely love Carnival! Thanks for showing the menus and menu tips like available with no sugar and all that. I liked that you guys don't seem to drink (?), but you still had a ton of fun! Definitely breaking the "Party ship" or "booze cruise" idea of Carnival. I did the ropes course on another ship - there was fear :( I don't know how kids, and even an older passenger (75) just ran past me as I froze up. If you can do the Norwegian Bliss please do so, I think you'll like it even if there aren't as many free food options - but there's laser tag!

Nice vid. We're on the Radiance for the second time sailing on August 19th on the same itinerary. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the ship is. We had been crusing on the Navigator out of San Pedro, but Carnival comped my wife for her casino play and we actually really liked the ship. I loved Shaq's Big Chicken and Guy's Pig n Anchor BBQ. I only wish Guy's was open more. It operating hours are quite limited. We sailed her in December so we could not fully enjoy all the amenities. I'm looking forward to some pool and waterslide action.

Is it easy to get around the entire Island with the Golf Cart?Is there alot of stuff to stop and look at?I am going on a back to back in March so I will be going here twice and Carnival doesn't offer very many excursions

I’m a first time cruiser. Thank you for your video I will be at the same locations😊 Did you go on your Firenze cruise? If so what is the difference between radiance and Firenze? I’m clueless just trying to watch all these videos before finalizing everything also does any of the cruise ships dock on Catalina?

Your support means the world, thanks for watching! We did go on the Firenze that video will be up next 😃 the main difference between Radiance and Firenze is the aesthetic of the ships. The Firenze's ambiance is a perfect blend of Italian heritage and modern luxury. The Radiance is an absolute blast, feels like a classic Carnival ship, and plenty of food to choose from 😊 they both offer the same itineraries most of the time, so it's possible to stop at Catalina Island on either ship its up to you 🙂 all in all Firenze feels new, Radiance feels a bit older, but both ships offer an equally exciting experience so you can't go wrong either way! We hope that helps with your choice ⚓️

We were just on the Firenze as well! We have a video coming very soon 😃 after sailing on the Firenze, we can still say we had a blast on the Radiance 🙂 the energy is amped, the cruise director was fun, and there are many of the traditional Carnival restaurants and shopping amenities available 🛳

Very nice video. Ours is also same as yours from June 3rd to 7th. Couple questions 1. Did you feel any motion sickness or was it pretty nice? 2. How was the weather in the sea? Any jackets needed?

Nice! 2 fun ports 👍 We feel like this ship sailed very smoothly for us. Elahyna usually packs Dramamine or motion sickness patches, but she didn't use them on this ship and felt fine 😁 Catalina Island and Ensenada were both very warm, sunny, clear skies, with picture perfect beach weather 🌞 For the ship, we would recommend something warm for every night and for the sea day! It gets cold out there on the ocean. We hope that helps⚓️
