About Carnival Row:
Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in Carnival Row, a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures. I watched the first season 3 times now. I'm so looking forward to season 2. Love the atmosphere of this show. The Boys, The Expanse, Carnival Row. Amazon Prime is really worth the money currently.

I'm in love with this series. Everything about it resonates, atmosphere, costuming, the steam punkiness and of course the plot. Certainly, I know that whether it be past, present or future, power struggles include obliteration of all perceived as others, so not just the poor, the mentally I'll or eccentric, but all manner of sentient beings. This is brilliant. Bloom and the entire cast shines.

I only used Bright because it came out before Carnival Row, and because it was well-known for having Will Smith in it (and for having terrible worldbuilding). By saying "It's like Bright, but better", I (& many Magical Realism fans who saw the trailer) were basically saying "Remember how much potential Bright had, but squandered? Think of this as that potential fully-realized." (It's also why I name-dropped Cop Craft, as that's a Magical Realism series done right, and done _Before_ Bright.)

After watching only two episodes I understood why this remarkable serial didn't got what it deserves. Beautifully written, designed like a well crafted Persian carpet. The mystical atmosphere was so wonderful like a fairytale but my friend underneath flows the reality of our own world.

It is Friday night August 30, 2019 and I am getting ready to watch the new Amazon Prime Video series, Carnival Row in 4K UHD on my 55 inch Samsung 4K UHD television. I am so glad I decided to purchase Amazon Prime Video 2 weeks ago because a lot of their series are in 4K and I do NOT have to pay extra to see 4K like Netflix requires. Many of Netflix movies and series aren't in 4K.

Just finished binge-watching the series. First of all the the visual effects and cinematography is truly superb. Feel really immersed on the fantasy-victorian world. I could say Orlando put a great performance. Still , I think director can push more out of Orlando and also Cara. All the character have great development but the story is real mess. Keep up jumping from 1 story to others. Although , ending is great. Can't wait for season 2 !

Patrick Moon same I finished it in one day couldn’t get enough I think the story line will become more clear in season two and I agree the director can get more out of Orlando and cara
