I'm born and raised in Seattle...I love how beautiful my state is, my city has plenty of natural wonders with the various views and sites...it's great for tourists lol...

Just fly back from Seattle yesterday 9/18/23. Omg is SeaTac bumping. The heartbeat of that city is vibing. I absolutely love the big city feel and Bainbridge island is breathtaking The water taxi. Pike place, the gum wall. The tour bus, the million dollar home on queen Anne Hill. I can go on and on. Seattle is one super, super expensive city. Will visit again to connect to Alaskan cruise July 23

There is an inside restaurant and bar behind the Ivar's fish bar...very nice and has happy hour from 3 till close everyday. Kids are welcome in the bar because of the set up!

The views are amazing in Seattle. Jeff actually lived in Seattle for a while. The donut shop had my mouth watering. I like how they throw the fish at Pike Place.

Welcome to Seattle! So glad you and the Fam enjoyed Pike Place Market (except for the fried rice - much better options in the International District). If you're interested in ice cream the next time you're at the Market, check out Shug's Soda Fountain. It's located on 1st Ave, between Pike and Pine St. It has a nice mix of nostalgic and hip decor. Enjoy your Alaska cruise!

Yes we tried to pack light. Everyone has their own carry on and that’s it. You’ll see some clothing repeats on this cruise cause we plan to wash and repeat on Day 3 or 4 lol

Lol thank you. The train was actually a great deal. No traffic. My sister caught a bus instead and it took her 50 minutes to get to our hotel compared to our 30 minutes. And it was about the same cost.

The light link rail system is a really good value and saves time traveling! We’d definitely use it again. Enjoy your cruise to Australia! You’ll have an amazing cruise director- Andy! He was just promoted and he extended his contract on Splendor to return it to Australia

Yes I’m a coffee lover but I didn’t even think to grab some 🤦🏽‍♀️. That’s what I usually do when we visit new places but it totally slipped my mind.

The Grand Sheraton? It sits on 6th and Pike St. That’s where we stayed. A 5 minute walk to the market.

The trip was amazing! My fave cruise to date! The scenery is so amazing! We really had a great time. Hoping to do it again next summer! Enjoy your trip!

@@clownshoes1100 we didn’t get any rain while in port which surprised us since July is the top month for rain in Alaska. It was overcast most of the cruise. But the temps were between low 50s and mid 70s. The coldest days were Day 1 and 2 as while in open water. The wind made it a lot colder. Once we hit the fjord area there was no wind and it felt a lot warmer. You’ll see in our later vlogs that show in Juneau and Ketchikan we only wear hoodies- and most of us had to remove them because it got warm. We loved the weather.

Was there any black people on the Alaska cruise because every video I see about the cruise I don't see any?

Yes there were but not many. I’d say less than 10% were black.

Was the night club open, I haven't seen anyone post anything other than the show, comedy and the piano bar. Help going on the 26th of july...July.... my 23 and 21 years old sons asking me like I have been to Alaska before only cruise to the Caribbean.

@@annettebutler3525 no problem! Yes the nightclub was open on most nights during our cruise, however we were never able to stay up late enough to vlog it. The time change for us was rough the entire cruise. But we did make it to karaoke a few times. Based on the music played there and during the deck parties- I believe the club may have a lot of oldies, country, rock, so the club may look a lot different than a caribbean cruise night club. We didn’t even get many people up and dancing during the sailaway party and deck party! It was definitely a different cruise environment. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions! I don’t mind at all! 😊
