Actually just got back on the Carnival Freedom over the Christmas holiday and booked this ATV ride through Carnival. I'd say book it through Carnival because they use a company called "Splash" and they take you through the entire island (all 7 miles of it). They're called "Splash" for a reason as they speed you up when they approach a huge mud section or water section on the route to ensure you get nice and wet/muddy!!!! Afte that first 2 mud encounters, I learned to just go through it at a very slow speed so as to keep down the splash and get all wet and dirty. Anyway, the tour guide was named Norton and we hit every trail (mud, water, hills, bumpy rocks). My other family members booked it without going through Carnival and their route was not as adventuresome as the one through Carnival. It was totally AWESOME!! Booking through Carnival cost $79 USD but not sure how much the other others charged. Can't wait to do it again!!!!
Great video. I booked this excursion and just got my GoPro but haven't used it yet. I was wondering how did you wear it while riding? That's the view I want when I ride the ATV.
