A perfect and timeless pop song. Hard to believe this song and video are over 20 years old, but then again it sounds like it could have been made at anytime during the last 50 years.
I first heard this song when I received the Austin Power's movie soundtrack.....years later I still love this song. It's composed very well, she sounds amazing, her ''growls'' are dead sexy, the harmony is on point, the bass line flows and carries the track, the guitar adds the grooving funk, the drums sound as tight with good rolls, and the piano/violin adds to the memorable atmosphere this song gives off. Check out the acoustic version. Schwing!
I really love when peopple post their experiences or fellings on you tube, specially from their lives.... i have the tendency to aply every song as a soundtrack of my life .... gretings from Mexico !!
I can recognise this song because it was played in the background while I was watching Children's BBC at the time around 14 or 15 years old. A forgotten gem of the 1990s by this band who would go on to score a string of hits including the 1997 smash 'Lovefool'.
"Life" is one of the 10 greatest albums of all time, and Nina is one of the 10 loveliest women that ever lived. If there's a man on the planet that wouldn't sell his eternal soul and that of everyone he ever loved to be living forever with her in 1994, he's a dope.
LOVE, LOVE LOVE this song and video! It's the most saccharine song ever but so fun and catchy! I never get tired of listening to it! Plus, not to mention, all of the band is so adorable in this video!
the cardigans definately take me back they make me feel 12 again omg! this vid is so cool they pulled the retro thing out perfectly, the song is such a perfect piece of work, i love it!
Austin Powers International Man of Mystery at the very end those 7 seconds of this song gave me the fiery motivation to find this song and it is perfect :)
Great band, great album. Reminds me on such a good time of my life. I was a hardcore hip-hop head at the time as well. The cardigans helped me re-broaden my horizons.
as far as i remember...they pioneered the 60's look after the release of this video.... the rest followed.... dee lite was also one of the pioneers in retro look.
