Glad you liked the video. I am very jealous! I would love to sail on the Valor again! Yes, the window cabin is the way to go in my opinion. The good part where your cabin is located it will probably be fairly quiet. Just make sure to get to the adult pool in the aft section of the ship by 10am-ish so you can get a lounger.

There was plenty of room for 2 people. They told us 220 sq feet and it felt very roomy. Cruises are easy to do, this was my 7th cruise. My personal record from getting out of car once I was parked and onto the Lido deck with a drink in my hand (typically the 9th decks up where the pool is) was 29 minutes flat. That includes baggage checked, Homeland security, and checking in! Try getting on a jet at the airport that fast! Lol.

Hello Evelyn! We get there around 12pm-12:30pm. The ship departs at 4pm. The Valor was at Port Canaveral which is a little more than an hour drive south from St Augustine where we live. We tried the "Faster to the Fun" at both port Canaveral and port of Miami. We were on the ship (Sensation) at Port Canaveral around 11am with Faster to the Fun excursion. In Miami there was some issue going on with departing guests (Victory) so we ended up having to wait until closer to 1 pm before we were allowed on board. This last time on the Valor was 45 minutes from parking the car to being on the Lido deck. There is a bigger "bum rush" to get on board after 1pm so the 12pm-12:30pm time is the "sweet spot" for getting aboard the ship. Thank you for your question, sorry for the long reply. Lol.

The Valor was one of our favorite cruise ships so far as it is the “right” size cruise ship, not too big, not too small. We are going on a RCCL cruise in a couple of weeks and a Carnival cruise in December.
