Fab video Jeff!..really enjoyed the relaxed experimental style set-up, with you trying what works best or what suits. We also got to see many more beautiful plants...Yay! The P. Pteradactyl is amazing..such a dramatic leaf. I'm envious of the dry climate you have...here in London it's been like a cool rainforest for about 6 months (chilly & endless rain!). Just lovely to see gorgeous Oscar & Pickles making an appearance again :)
Thanks Joanna! I really enjoy these live videos and I'm glad people tune in as well. Where I live it is almost always sunny here....one of the sunniest places in Canada, but it's dry.
If you are looking to add another long lance leaf Philodendron to your gorgeous collection, I'd recommend crassinervium. Mines getting giant leaves now. Found in clearance for $5 at my local big box store a few years ago 😊❤
If you’re looking for another long leaf philodendron, I suggest the esmereldense! The new emergent leaf has an amazing red back and continues to grow larger almost similar to how anthurium leaves grow!
Wrap a warm wet cloth and hold it around the stick leaf. Hold it for a couple minutes, then un wrap and you should be able to open the sheath and pop out the stuck leaf.
Hi Jeff, idk if someone has pouted out but Terra Cota is bad for carnivorous plants cuz it leeches out minerals overtime. You won’t see the effects right away but will eventually cuz it to decline.
I have too many wishlist plants to even write them down. I want Hoyas and ficus. I’m. It particular except I want a curly ficus and A Hoya Bella. Those are two on my list.
Yeah but if you stick a bottle of water you can do other things with your time. Do you always use fertilizer. How about fertilizing the part that needs it and water the rest of the pole, except I just realized that there is no point in watering the rest of the pole. Oh well just ignore this comment.
