blackbeltrjfish I've never taken French in my life, and I somehow understood that it meant notebook lol (initially I was actually thinking some sort of journal, but same difference)
Mine is pretty similar, but also being able to occasionally watch Delicatessen or The City of Lost Children without subtitles. Also if you go to Quebec you can order drinks without issue.

I heard another electro swing mix from a Caro Emerald song and that was an abomination so I was a little wary, but damn, this is such a beautiful remix!! The same song, in a different tune and really well put together. Great job Caravan Palace!

I truly adore this song. I don't know, but from 1:47-2:36 and 2:54-3:20 it gives me a sad, or maybe a hungering nostalgic feeling... The tune in the trumpets is so hypnotising. I'm looking for more songs like this. With the same timbre.
I'm in the same situation. I looked for, and found, more songs with a similar timbre. But it only makes things worse. This nostalgia makes me cry literal tears
Olivier Claes i found some songs that kindda is like those parts CP- human leather shoes for crocodile dandies CP- cotton heads CP- wonderland (vendredi remix) And maybe J-Hype - last dream (blue satellite remix) (The last one kindda fix with the beats befor 2:36)
Same here, lone digger by caravan palace was the first electroswing song I heard and I will never forget that moment. I was like holy shit, this is my music
kiltrofilms I love this song because it's so emotionally complex. You're filled with slight anxiety, needing to pack everything, but joy and anticipation and just a bit of trepidation of the experience you're going to have. You're going to be awed and inspired and even a little jealous by some people you meet, and trying not to laugh or holding back a groan at the people who are obviously faking their stories. You're excited to explore the unknown, but you're leaving home (at least temporarily). And through it all, you know for better or worse, the experience will eventually pass.
Part of me thinks that it is talking about attempting suicide and failing, 'a cruise into heaven' she keeps talking about needing paper and a pen also the bit 'what am i waited for' could be a slant rhyme for wanted. That theme keeps popping up, again "Next time, I’m not hesitating I think I’m leaving today" and in the chorus "For every different change of mind (different change of mind) I gotta pack it for every reason (every reason)" it could be talking about moodswings/mental health issues I don't know, but this always felt like it had this darker idea under the surface
+James Tisajokt from now on youtube requires you to write a sentence for why the watcher disliked a video and the community decides to approve the dislikes or not.
I love this song but my only question about this song is how is this a Caravan Palace Remix?!? I don't hear a single caravan palace song/beat in this song. I actually thought that this was a remix of Bad Boy Good Man by TAPE FIVE until I saw Caravan Palace remix. Does anyone know why it says Caravan Palace Remix?
Mig2463 Caravan Palace is the name of the group, who within the group there's people who plays the instruments and who works on digital media to make beats, notes, sounds...the singer is just the singer but the people who also makes the music of their own sounds, can make remix of others (with permission of course) hope this helps 😊👌

No, no, you don't seem to understand. :'0 The bits of song played in the intro and ending are from another song that I've heard some other places before- an old song- that I don't know the name of. I was wondering if anyone did.
@@skyllarrk i might misundesrtood but, If I remeber right, this track of trumpets are original from Caravan Palace, and probably, you misundesrtood with another song.
i was recommended this again 5years ago.... sort of a lullaby for my past life, quick, hateful, boring, and felt fast for some reason.... fuck my child hood this is a amazing song!
