How isn't it deep? You could take this song in any number of ways- maybe her partner isn't even alive anymore but she still feels their presence or the memory is stronger on the dancefloor. A song doesn't have to have layers upon layers upon layers of meaning and sound like Shakespearean word salad to be deep. All it has to do is touch the heart, and it's not up to any outside source to determine how, why and when it does so for each individual. That's why art is subjective, and superficial comments and ratings like these mean absolutely nothing when compared to the experiences, taste and personal preference of the viewer.
