Carol B’s “Dress shirt” quilt 

my husband has grown out of his flannel shirts, and i've got them all saved to make a couple of quilts out of them.....we have two grandsons and im certain to have enough flannel shirts to make two quilts.....he's not at all on his death bed, however, should he leave us before i get to making the aforementioned quilts, then i'll certainly have enough to make two quilts for the boys and maybe a pillow for me.......and i think square in a square pattern is doable for me. thanks for the suggestions.
