I have never used any of Carol’s daughters products. I do like the way the conditioner was seemingly allowing your denman brush to just slide straight through your hair.
I used Carol's daughter in the past. I have not bought since she sold the company. I do love the variety of her offerings. I love, again, the results of your hair. Stripped??? Wow! Great review.
I love that you give your honest opinion especially for the first time with using the products. I’ve tried Carl‘s daughter before years ago and for the fact that the shampoo always trips my hair I’ve mainly use the conditioners. Crazy that you had kind of like the same results with the stripping of the hair from the shampoo but the conditioners are on point and I really like them!
I haven’t tried Carol’s Daughter Wash Day Delight. But I love learning about new products that I can try to clean my my hair. I been looking to switch my shampoo and conditioner so I might try this out. ❤️
I haven’t tried any Carol’s Daughters products. I’m glad you noted that your hair felt a little stripped after using the shampoo. Lol at all of the soap suds and it took 5 minutes to wash out. I’m also glad they listed what’s in their products.

The advertising for these products were on point I almost purchased them. Don’t get me wrong I still want them.🤣. I never try to pronounce the the ingredients. I received a carols daughter box from CURLBOX. But I love carols daughter.

It’s so difficult to find good haircare products! It seems once you use one for awhile, it stops working. I haven’t heard of this one before, but I’m glad it worked pretty well for you :)
I’d love to use this as a clarifying shampoo once a month. I know shampoos with sulfates make my scalp feel sooo stripped to the point where I can almost feel all the cracks and crevices like I would imagine the Sahara desert. And since it doesn’t have sulfates, and my hair is naturally dry, I don’t imagine it being that drying since a little goes a long way. I was thinking about adding some aloe leaf gel or juice(or maybe rose water) to the shampoo to make it more moisturizing when I don’t want it to be too drying. I heard about the rose shampoo as well. From what reviews say the only difference is the floral scent.
At this moment I literally have no shampoos. At least no store brand shampoos. I’ve been using castile soap in my hair. I’m trying to go simplistic/minimalist with my hair products. I use to be a hair product junkie. And I got tired of the companies changing ingredients of their products, or them completely removing a line from their brand, and it took me years to find something I liked for my hair, only for them to discontinue it. So I’d have to start my search all over again. But the product junkie in me still surfaces from time to time. I don’t know if I’ve been getting subliminal messages, but I’ve been adding aloe or rose water to my hair lately, and now I’m starting to notice companies are bringing out products marketing that it comes with aloe vera in it. LoL almost creepy/ironic
Yes, I really want to try using a smaller portion to see if it makes a difference in my hair feeling stripped. I've heard about using castile soap for your hair! I'm going to have to try that out too! lol I've been seeing a lot of companies using rose water and aloe too! They are very good sources of moisture!

I've never tried their products but I see one plus compared to others is the large size bottles they have! I hate the size of the other lines like Mielle and the Mane Choice. They're so tiny. I know this was a hair care line review but that lip color is everything! I love it. What color is that and who makes it?
yeah, the smell is good. im glad these products were free - i would hate to spend a lot of money on something that didn't do what it claimed to do. but i love the conditioner!
Loved the review but wait... You're using aloe on your hair for the first time?? Omg.. I use aloe all the time 😍 for skin and for hair.. Ppl say we can eat fresh aloe but i am yet to try that 😅 I'm surprised that the shampoo did not moisturise your hair😐

I freaking love salicylic acid for my skin so I'm excited to try it for my scalp. And if someone already got to it I'm sorry for being repetitive!

@@GabrielleIshell It's a really great acne treatment for dry skin, it gently exfoliates without being super harsh. My guess is it does the same for your scalp; a gentle exfoliation, and treatment for oil build-up which I think I'll like a lot!
I tried carols daughter one time and I hated it. I guess I had the wrong line. I didn’t like them at all. But I love a good conditioner. If it does what it says I’m on board.

i think so. but i know its in a lot of sgood scalp conditioners. its supposed to be good because its able to penetrate the scalp and clear the skin on your head
So as I was watching your video I heard you say the product has Salicylic Acid. That made me sit up because Salicylic Acid gets rid of excess oils. So I was wondering then how can this product be hydrating if it has Salicylic which is meant to get rid of excess oils/moisture. This saved me some money and not to use it to damage my hair.
@naleybaby Hi, thanks for watching. I mentioned that salicylic acid was one of the first 5 ingredients listed on the shampoo, meaning that it is more prominent in that product than other ingredients. I also mentioned that the shampoo was stripping/not moisturizing and that makes sense. I actually didnt even mention salicylic acid when I talked about the conditioner. The salicylic acid in the conditioner was one of the last ingredients listed on the conditioner, which means that there is most likely not as much of it in there.
