I've put ~8k hours on the D series, and just got a D3 series. I literally yesterday found out about the safety pin on for the rear door, although working indoors, not much risk of it blowing shut on me. Why not have a push to release automatic lock on that door? I have noticed there are a number is problem points with the D series that the D3 still hasn't addressed(constantly failing hydraulic quick connectors, relocation kit on quick attach pins not standard so their often neglected due to difficulty of access(yet they relocated 2 of the easiest to get to point on the real lift linkage), D3 has a 15% larger cab, but still lacks interior storage space(the space to the rear right of the seat should have some sort of removable organizer/bucket; and a storage clipboard slot somewhere as well, for machine inspection paperwork and other jobsite paperwork)(I actually find the 2013 262D has a better cab size for this, as a storage clipboard could slot in between the arrbar and the window without falling down into the larger gap and getting jambed).)
