I first bought CH Mystery Tobacco (after sampling) over 12 months ago and to be honest, I was really hoping that no RU-vid reviewer would ever make the piece you've just made! This is a phenomenal perfume that had exactly the same effect on me and I won't lie, I've spent parts of the summer gravitating towards it, having a sniff and almost longing for Autumn to arrive! If you smelled this as a sample, house name withheld, you'd instinctively know it's money. And it's worth every penny in my book.. Always, always get asked what I'm wearing when I wear this.

Glad to see some love for this one. It has been my favorite tobacco scent for over two years. And just like you said it is better than Red Tobacco and Carlisle which are really good too. I also have the Nightfall Patchouli which is a great scent for patchouli and cinnamon lovers.

Just got my decant. Wow. You are not wrong. Beautiful stuff. Definitely picking up a bottle for fall I had been wearing Le Labo Tabac 29 in the autumn but I am almost out and now that they released pricing for the City Exclusives event and I see they have completely lost their minds (100 ml $510 🤣😂🙄) this will make a fantastic successor. I think CH private line is probably one of, if not the best designer private line, I've smelt. I will purchase pretty much anything with tobacco in it and Mystery Tobacco is a stunner. It's balanced, sophisticated and easy to wear. It is definitely more refined than Carlisle and Red Tobacco and yet the latter is still my favorite Tobacco frag to date. I personally love the rough, unapologetic edges of Red Tobacco and it's just my absolute fave. If you love Tobacco and tonka and don't mind the splurge, then you cannot go wrong with Mystery Tobacco.

I really like a lot of the vintage CH stuff like the original, Chic, Prive, 212 VIp and VIP Black and Under The Sea but haven't jibed with the lightning bolts. This looks and sounds like something I'm going to love as I love Carlisle and Herod as well as Red Tobacco so this is a must have now.

It is better but it costs exactly FOUR times more than Red Tobacco in my country, so it's a NO for me. 🤷‍♂ I just can't justify the price, Mystery Tobacco is not THAT much better than Carlisle or RT.

designer private blends should be considered niche... checkout diors tobacolor (i may of mis-spelled that lol) also probably my personal favorite of all my fragrences, niche included, would be chanels le lion, something about that stuff really rings home, i keep it for the winter though as i don't wish to clog up houses haha

Sounds like another killer, wish my saks/nordstrom carried the line. They have TF, Bond, Creed, Kilian, and the saks just recently got PDM and MFK. BTW what makes this a fragrance you "wouldn't normally have reviewed on your main channel"? That was supposed to be the point of this channel.. I guess? I don't get why this review of one of your fav new fragrances would be out of place on the main channel. Just curious.

Red Tobacco has been reformulated! I just got a batch 2022 bottle and I confirm this. It now has an almost clear color (not dark Amber like before) and the performance is super nerfed! Just a heads up guys.

Tobacco Intense Mega Collection is a fantastic clone of Mystery Tobacco. It's by Ard Al Zaafaran (the same brand that did the great Interlude clone). Only £15 in the UK. Joy Amin has a very good review of it on his channel.
