Bro this vid had me in my feels. Miss the Coleman and Norman duo with keuchly TD duo. Also thinking we were gonna b unstoppable with kelvin benjamin coming back the next year
just got through watching luke's retirement announcement video and saw this on the side as a recommendation. watching this video reminds me of how good we had it at one point as panthers fans, i hope he can stay with us somehow (maybe as a coach?) so we can get him a ring that he so rightly deserves
If you see this (I know your comment is 2 years old) , the defense is back. I’m telling you , the 2019 defense is equal to the 2015 squad. We’re gonna have a big year.
Gabe Sonawane yep the seasons going great were rocking a 5 and 7 record. Kyle Allen is not a good quarterback he’s good as a backup. Also the defense can’t even stop a 2 and 9 redskins.
@@jacobjones9652 yeah you are right. Offensive line is the biggest concern for me. The defense has young talent at almost every position other than linebacker so I’m excited to see what they do. Biggest areas that the panthers need to improve are TE, the ENTIRE OL except Taylor Moton, and linebackers. Hope they can exceed my expectations though
Most underrated team of all time. 15-1 and a SB appearance (plus led the league in most 1st & 2nd team All-pros & most pro bowlers as well also, our qb Cam Newton won the NFL MVP award by a MILE. Magical year. Even ted Ginn had almost 1,000 receiving yards…finishing with 904 receiving yards & 11 total TD’s (10 receiving , 1 Rushing). Should have made it as an alternate pro bowl atleast
This honestly brings tears to my eyes, was such happy times, I hope with Frank Reich as our coach now we can move on and bring a championship home to Carolina once and for all. Miss all of the players. I think Tre and JJ are the only two panthers on the team since the 2015 season.
It’s 2023 this season is up for grabs. I hope this level of energy, competitiveness on d, big plays on O, are what we see this year. Ik our guys want it and we now have a staff. This 2015-16 team was really them.
Its 2017 the panthers are 2-1 but the offense playing like their 0-3 its crazy to see we used to play this amazing complimentary football and the offense was just clicking what changed
I miss when the Panthers were this good. With Luke retiring, it makes me so sad now to watch these highlights. So many key players gone, or about to be gone from this 2015 run: No more Ryan Kalil, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Josh Norman. Greg Olsen is most likely gone, and the Panthers may trade Cam Newton. What the fuck happened to this team? I'm so sad.
I miss it man 🤧😔 im here after this loss against the Cardinals to remind myself of better times. Need to be reminded of how good we were and how good we will be someday. One day we get the satisfaction of saying we’re super bowl champs. Best fanbase in the entire world. Most die hard of fans. #KEEPPOUNDING
This was our year. We choked in the SB and after that the entire franchise fell apart. Cam, Olsen, Keuchley, Stewart, Khalil, Norman, Davis etc etc all long gone and now we got Darnold, horrible offensive line, constantly injured CMC, receivers who can't hold on to the ball and no solid tight end.
Wonderful video...Love Cam Newton! The Panthersof 2015-16 were ruthless until the rigging started and the trading vets for rookies in PS 2016. Still, Cam is Legend already. Rigged season means nothing! 2009 through 2015 Iconic!
This team flew under the radar till the end and they loved that. It made them play with even more heart. They were an amazing group of people with such diversity amoung talents. Everyone stepped up to make this happen as the contagious fevor caught and spread like wildfire. They thrived off the lack of attention and played the game for the pure fun of it. This was football at it's core.
I have always been Manning fan, but I did like these Panthers. They had such a fun team and was great to their fans. I did lose some respect after Cam's post Superbowl meltdown. As a leader, he should have set a better example.
The way they played here it just doesn't make sense how they played in the Superbowl. In my opinion I believe Denver was the only team that could truly beat this team that year. If it was anyone else I believe Carolina would've got those rings.
Von Miller was a beast that day. He won Super Bowl MVP for a reason. I give all the props to him. He and Cam were in the same draft class. I think that was extra motivation for him, with Cam going #1 that year in 2011. People talk about Cam not driving on the ball, but it happened so quick. I understood his concern about being injured, because he was beat. By the time he realized he lost the ball, the defense was on it. If he knew he was going to lose it before everyone else did, then he could've reacted to it quicker. It's that little nuance that the cynics and naysayers aren't considering. But props to Von. He wanted it more and willed his team to that victory.
We were almost like the '72 Dolphins. I predicted first round Cam and within 5 years we'd be at the Superbowl. But those two losses hurt even though we were GREAT that season. I hate they let Cam go the way they did. But hopefully we will have a Rhule-Bridgewater Dynasty? I'm interested in seeing what this transition will bring for us.
I could lament this season for the rest of my life. They had an unstoppable offense, an unbreakable defense, and a 15-1 record. And Riverboat Ron was in the zone too. How they lost the Super Bowl is beyond me.
Literally ran through the entire schedule, other than the Atlanta game that meant nothing, but dropped dead in the super bowl they were the most favorited in, in nfl history.. Literally cussed out everyone within 100 feet of me.. hate looking back on this season cause of the heart breaking ending
How electrifying that stadium was for LUUUUKKKEEEEEEEEE. Cam Newton was just so fun and I love him to this day, he has my heart as a fan forever. Olsen and Davis I loved too. So great. Going to miss this time. Time to build something better and get that ring
Shout out to Thomas Davis, We drafted him to chase down Michael Vick and we got a STUD! May go down in history as the most under appreciated players ever. I know the Panthers are a youngish franchise, but we do have a good run of bad ass linebackers.
It’s sad to think that these are just old memories for us Panthers fans. But at least we got to witness and enjoy the most special season in franchise history.
Live in Durham, take Amtrak to Charlotte most of the time to see games, Panthers bring hope to the hopeless, to a working man something to look forward to on Sunday, Monday or Thursday. Yes Cam can OD at times but that does not measure up to the greatness he has given to the Carolinas, not 1 state, but TWO. The future looks great, and is well deserved. And as always...KEEP....POUNDING
This video is a great demonstration of just how close some of those games were. Several of them could have easily gone the other way, but Fortune favored the Panthers that year. There were some truly dominant performances of course, and most of the close games were because the opposing defense adjusted and found a way to slow down the offense, and it was up to the Panthers defense to hold the line. And let's be honest, Green Bay and Seattle were not playing at their highest level that year. Not taking anything away from the Panthers accomplishments, just talking about how everything came together perfectly that year. I wasn't surprised that they didn't win the Super Bowl, but that was because Denver's defense had just beaten Tom Brady, and I knew the offensive line would have trouble with Von Miller. This year though everything looks like they can make another run and win this time.
I swear this team was so fun to watch regardless if you were a panthers fan, prolly one of the first team to start giving out footballs on a regular basis, please lmk another team that would do this and had as much fun playing the game, Cam, Luke, TD, and Olsen brought some sort of energy #futurehof
What a great year it was for yall Panthers fans. Im an Eagles fan and I remember how fucking good this team was. Now look here we are almost 7 years later. Cam doesnt even have a job.
