Caroline am watching this very eloquent gentleman articulate this manenos and you ask "r yu listenin" and I answer YES and my daughter is like muuuum what r yu watching 😂😂...sema concentration..👊👌..
Wairimu, that's exactly me right now. Am watching and she turns and asks "are u listening?' and i go "yes" loudly like shes right here with me. And the eye contact was sharp... Good stuff Karol
While I do agree with most of what is being said, I have to admit that I am one of those people who don't subscribe to finishing school worthy dress and visual presentation. I have had many a meeting with bank managers in a pair of jeans, a sports T-shirt and not a lick of makeup. However, what gets me through is, as you have both pointed out, the art of the conversation. Confidence, the ability to improve your argument and make a valid, fact-based point - these are some of my favourite things.
Am in awe of all this....This is just the ''thing'' (for lack of a better word) that will sort the ''disconnect'' that most individuals and entrepreneurs go through in the plateau phase where they can not really point a finger to what is limiting them from actually jump starting their businesses...it is true what was mentioned that the real deal is not only in ones capacity to deliver or their competences but rather in packaging one self as a whole. Loving the whole idea!!! thank you Caroline and Mwenesi for showing us where we go wrong. #behaviorrefinement #secondnature #onehappyindividual #packaging&alignment
As I wait for Pt 3, sometimes I watch the spokespersons of various institutions and I cringe because of how bad their presentation is. Compare how our government handled the Westgate incident and how the Malaysians handled the disappearance of their plane a few years ago. Most frustrating is the police whose MO seems to be to deny everything first, even when there is evidence to the contrary. As Kenya grows in influence the individuals that represent us, especially politically, need what Mwenesi is offering. Kudos to the likes of Safaricom and Equity who are a pleasure to deal with. I believe it was Winston Churchill who said that "Diplomacy is the art of telling people to go to hell in such a way that they ask for directions."
Very insightful conversation. Just thinking out aloud,i wish there was an avenue(aside from home training of course) where children could go and be taught such things; in order to culture them from the time they are still small and as such have them grow into adults who can articulate and express themselves with confidence.
I always watch your blog immediately you post but with this I took my sweet time and brushed it off. but I saw a part 2 and a part 3 and I got curious. well I agree with everything you discussed. God knows how I wish I was in the room with you guys. one of the problems we face as a generation is lack of focus. we have refused to even, simply, go back and understand what etiquette means and how we can incorporate simple and cordial mannerisms to our daily routine to effectively reach any goal we set for ourselves. More to that, we are exposed to so much distractive bytes and bits of information on impulsesand that has contributed to most of us loosing focus in anything we set out to do. Mr. Musalia and any executive Coach, some who are trained and some who are naturally gifted in Coaching are well able to help nurture personalities to greatness through candid assessment of current actions and help introduce awareness of things that can be incorporate in daily activities to create a routine, towards achieving certain goals and maintaining desired status. I hope many of us would listen keenly to this discussion and more so as a nation because this conversation right here and what Mr. Musalia is trying to effect in people can catapult us to first world status if we consciously agree to pursue and practice Mr. Mwenesi Musalia's practical ideologies. I'm open to discussion. lizabethkieti@gmail.com
Theres a lady that does the same, wonderful Woman Ms. Winnie Kamuya (Runs IRC) . It's true we need to lift an trust on our own institutions, most of our public officials lack Personal Etiquette and Just simply Self Presentation. They lack professionalism. Kuddos Caroline. Mwenesi is doing great.
Tanzanians could help us too - ustarabu. Have been watching well dressed women pushing against people on the streets to get past - 'excuse me' does not exist. our public culture is a jungle
Hey Carol. This is great and am glad you have brought that question up on kids. Would Mwenesi have modules for primary school kids. I would love to include it in my primary school
nicholas kamau hahaha she got me right there. Was listening while doing other things and suddenly i jumped from my seat felt like my mother speaking to me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
