Having Covid does not necessarily mean she will pass from it. I am a 61 year old RN working the frontlines. We discharge people home every day. We play "Here comes the Sun" when they are wheeled out through the lobby, with their permission. Prayers of healing and good health for your beloved Sister Barbara. 🙏

I left a 25 year corporate career at the end of October to have more time with my 3 young sons and somewhere, somehow I know that your influence will help me to be a great teacher to them ( and perhaps others) to continue your influence.....

I fall asleep reading and listening to your books and saying your prayers. Hover Over Me has carried me through the toughest times when my baby was fighting leukemia. Your teachings are in my life daily. I have been following you for over 10 years and my daughter has been listening to your teachings since she has been little (she is 12 now). I have even caught her teaching on her blackboard one of your talks about eau de toilette and perfume and the penthouse/building analogy (she was 6). I do not want to wait until you are old and grey or sick to tell you this. I want to honour you, the greatest teacher in MY life. Over the past 29 years, half my life, I've heard her wrestle with problems, political rogues, her Teresa encounters, & formation of mercy as 2nd nature...growing up to full stature. When you said " Where did she go" in the beginning it reminded me of Alice seeing the White Rabbit enter the rabbit hole for the first time. Pure mystery, amazement and curiosity. Thought that was so cool. I must say, Sister Barbara's brilliance and teaching style definitely shines through you. Thank You...Thank You... Your're story just reminded me of the 100's of times I have told my students, 5-14 years old, for over 27years of teaching. (I'm not teaching now and miss it greatly) Whenever a dispute would arise, I'd find the nearest thing I could get my hands on. A Quarter, a ruler, math worksheet, my hand, my head....what ever. Then, with kids already placed on either side, I'd ask them to tell me what they saw? Of course they saw a different side. They were also correct. But in this moment, they could not deny that the "other' was correct. It was very effective. Thank you for reminding I was incredible at teaching this. I kinda think I might have gotten this idea planted in my brain from you...20-30 years ago? Thank You again.
