Caroline Myss - The Era of the Soul 

This beautiful story about Saint Theresa touches me deeply. I was raised Catholic in Appalachia. 30 years ago, I was flying from Seattle back to my home in the mountains. My cousins grandmother, as I knew, had been close to death from cancer and was in last days. We all called her Nana. Well, I somehow got up to her Condo. With shaky, thin arms of sad beauty, she gestured to my cousin to hand her a book. She said" I have been waiting for you Susan. I could not leave the Earth until I saw you...because I have to give you this book about Theresa of Avila. Now, there is no way she knew I had been receiving messages from The Saint for months. I was studying with a Native American Shaman near Seattle..but darn if St. Theresa wasn't coming through...frequently. A few days later, Nana in fact did pass on. I have never forgotten that afternoon. You never know who is praying for you, loving you, connecting you with your Teachers! ❤️

The Carmelite nuns prayed for me as I was in the experience of stage three melanoma with three young children. They sent me blessed cards, notes, rosary. I slept with their love, and I had gotten many other cards. I was deep into Caroline Myss’ books at the time which gave me much hope as I asked myself “why don’t I want to heal?” Of the 7 or us melanoma patients, I survived. I thank Teresa pf Avila for this and the Avila retreat center near my home in NC. God bless those of us who can hear more loudly the Spirit Voice than those around us at times. It’s a crazy maker until we realize others are experiencing the same thing. Yes, so much alone time needed. Grace and Peace to All

I was a hermit, monk and a nun in past lives and today I live alone in silence. It confuses people but I cannot be around too many people who do not vibe as I do. I was fine during the so called " isolation" of Covid. Perhaps you were a nun or some holy acolyte of Teresa's hence your great love of her.

Caroline, I can’t begin to explain how much this video spoke to me. The part where you talk about the message you received where your soul was excited (forgot the exact words you used) but the rest of you was terrified... that was very much relatable. I’m in a stage where I am stepping more into unknown territory and I’m scared, even though it’s something I know in the depth of me is part of my path. Hard to explain, but I just wanted to thank you for opening up. I was in tears towards the end of the video and felt as though you were talking directly to me, which is always very comforting. That you opened up, I listened in the shower under the water. After loss, I turned to mysticism. And I had so many back to back downloads and grief became unwanted growth. I already knew I was and people look at me crazy and say, no you didn't. I say when I worked with angels, AA Raphael downloaded me with medical intuative senses at a stop sign and I have freaked everyone out since. Losing my sister was my true catalyst. I have listened to all your books, I am so much like you. And I was a working medium with a specialty in suicides and overdoses. I have had so many experiences and you telling your story assisted in me moving forward. Caroline. You are a God sent to so many. Best thing that resonates for me, Is trauma steals common sense and these experiences, I just don't tell. I will now.

Caroline, I'm loving you from the other side of the world but, of course, we share many ley lines. I am utterly engrossed in your teachings. And before even watching this video, I knew to click the "like" button. I knew it was going to be good. Soon after the video began, a female voice said to me "She is a lot like you". And so be it. In terms of personality types, you are an ENTJ and I am an INTJ. We are both teachers and modern mystics. I had not heard of St Teresa of Avila until I heard you mention her. About a month ago, I was driving and developed excruciating abdominal pain. I pulled over to the side of the road and remained in overwhelming pain for the next five minutes or so. This was beyond what I could usually relax or meditate away. So I called to my new friend, St Teresa, for healing and grace. Maybe 30 seconds went by where the pain continued and then BAM it was as though the pain and whatever had caused it suddenly disappeared without a trace. Normally, when we heal, it is gradual, and so for me when there is this instantaneous all-over healing, I know that the grace of God has intervened. I love your work. I love your enthusiasm. I love your sense of humour (stick your head in the toilet for 7 minutes is a favourite of mine). I love the way you are able to describe and express your spiritual experiences. Whilst I have had many similar experiences, I don't even bother trying to put them into words. But somehow you manage it. Bravo! I am being egged on here to share an important spiritual insight I have had. And that is that our psyche specifically selects to see certain problems because those problems stir in us a reaction, and that reaction is like a fire in the belly which, if we follow it, leads us to discovering and bringing the more and more of who we are. If we never saw a problem, we would never grow in order to reach that which answers the problem. So, it makes perfect sense to me that you have had your most insightful and deep "downloads" after an experience of interior crisis. That is the way for all of us.

Thanks for sharing your journey. I am grateful for your perspective. I believe the collective fracture of humanity’s denied unconscious self is the unhealed inner child in all of us. In our current planetary evolution, the mass consciousness of humanity has an opportunity to heal all illusion of duality within our subconscious and unconscious as a human species. This collective limiting belief systems has inhibited our ability to love ourselves, others, express ourselves freely while limiting our personal power. Until we integrate these polarities and heal the unconsciousness split in our subconscious, we will not experience the freedom of our true being. Thanks Caroline for all you do.

Dear Caroline, Thank you for sharing a little of your personal story. I would like to hear more about your story, and I do believe many, many more feel the same way. You may think people are not that interested in your personal journey, but we are very interested. You inspire people with what you teach and your personal experiences inspire and help people to understand a little of what our lives are really about.

Oh, one more thing, a dear friend who I raised my children with just drowned 5/27/21. His wife (both are dear friends) texted me that evening. Our community is devastated, so as I drove back from her home tonight, I prayed Jesus would use my mouth, my arms, to serve, though I felt depleted like I could sleep for days. Getting ready for bed, I happened upon Ms. Myss online re nee reflection series and POW Wonder Woman was my alter ego, I could with Grace stand next to my friend and hold her hand up as Amos held Moses arm up. One minute in His court is worth incalculable 100000 days on earth. Thank you

I remember reading about spiritual bank accounts and your right, the anatomy of the spirit helped me find answers about my Mother passing, and recently had a dream half awake and half-awake He's been gone for four years, he had key's in his hand, so I'm assuming he's telling me I have the answers for myself. All I know is as longs as I'm balancing rocks, seeing horses on the beach, going to the ocean seeing eagles flying to the trees made me happy, so might as well keep doing what makes me feel happy. Caroline, I was so excited when you said you might do a programme on Faith because this has been on my mind lately. What is faith? I have had a wrong idea about this all my life, and am only just coming to understand what faith is from both Western and Eastern teachings. I was born in your year, but had always thought faith was belief in a dogma, maybe blind belief, and I had always thought that people who thought this way were a bit simple. I had always argued, "where is the proof", "where is the academic argument". Faith is wrongly understood by many people especially those who are not familiar with Catholicism. The same thing with "grace". I have no idea, actually, what this is. And I have been so wrong about my assumptions about both of these words (faith and grace). I am gleaning definitions and explanations from all over the place to help me understand this, but clear scriptures and teachings from you would be absolutely wonderful.
