PLOT:
Facilier is a shadow storyteller at the circus, and Jasmine is his new pupil. Facilier always ends his shows with a twist; this night with bats that had been "awakened by the ringing of the bell”. The audience loves it. Jasmine on the other hand, is not impressed. The stories and performances are supposed to scare the audience in her opinion. Later Jasmine asks for permission to host her first show. Her master eagerly agrees. He should´t have.
