Idk if the food has gone downhill since cedar falls bought Carowinds, but Blue Ridge was a HUGE miss for me and my friends yesterday. Not only were the portion sizes tiny, it was crazy expensive (one small sausage and two sides was $28), the sides were cold and the Mac and cheese was clearly the kind that comes in a can (chef boyardee style). I was expecting mediocre food at high prices but even with that I was shocked
Just from my experience over the last few years Blue ridge has been the best. That quality is just what you get in Carowinds. I would not actively recommend eatting in Carowinds if possible especially for the price but if you have to Blue ridge would be my pick.
Oh, you would be wonderful at the Call Center. I worked there about 3 different times meaning 1995 to 1997 and 2001 to 2003 and 2019. Explaining those food and drink plans was very difficult to people who have never heard of it. I answered those calls many times.
If only Juke Box diner had..."actual diner food". I grew up in New Jersey- if they expanded the menu to more than burgers and fries and upped the quality- it'd be great.
Honestly from my experience so far with Scarowinds I just hope you make it through the gate. Everyday has been at or near capacity so they have been turning people away. Get their before opening so you can get in. I left from my place 10 minutes after opening since I live 5 minutes from Carowinds, and waited an hour in traffic, moved 50 feet and eventually gave up Friday and Saturday.
@@CarowindsReviews Welp time to get up early cause I live 3 hours away. I’ve heard Scarowinds was busy but I would have thought that the crowds would’ve died down due to Covid.
It seems busier honestly and that's saying something as Scarowinds is always the busiest time of the year. I'm going to try again on Friday and see how it is
I've been to the Country Kitchen and in my opinion the absolute WORSE one. DO NOT GO AFTER 4PM. They keep the chicken out until it is so dry it inedible. Awful. the mac and cheese were just a clump. I won't eat there if it was FREE oh it is lol! Harmony Hall is the better deal
@@CarowindsReviews Yeah they had, south of the border is now gourmet grilled cheese. They come with bbq pork or chicken on them. The salad station is actually Poke bowls now. All salads are prepackaged. Pretty good. Both of them. The grilled cheeses are my faves.
I'm actually going to miss South of the border. The salad bar change sucks. Last time I went the salad bar was either pre packaged or you could make your own with limited options.
@@CarowindsReviews yeah, you can still get quesadillas at burrito cafe. The poke bowl station offers a mixed greens option sooooo you can technically still make a salad but with the ingredients they offer for the poke bowl.
Yes they do. It usually runs 75 to 150 depending on the day and I highly recommend it if you can afford it. Carowinds basically lets you walk on to each coaster if you have fast lane passes.
I think food is why kings dominion is worlds better than carowinds you have country kitchen outpost cafe grain and grill and many other great options also I found jukebox at KD to be fairly good and fresh
