A Carpy Connection, Linch Hill Fishery--Christchurch lake 2019.
Welcome to my vlog. This episode was filmed on a week long carp fishing trip to Linch Hill Fisheries, Christchurch lake.
Myself and my son spent a hard week trying to catch some special old english carp. Battling the weed was the agenda for the first few days with no action. A move was on the cards and it paid off.
I have created "A Carpy Connection" in the hope of bringing some quality, carpy content for you to watch. Bringing together my love of photography, videography and my passion for carp angling and putting all together for you to enjoy. In my vlogs i try to offer some carp fishing tips and techniques, fishing photography carp fishing rigs, and a few fish along the way.

Think Cluster was my 15th fish. I moved on when the twin died. It’s a lovely place to fish, hope he gets it at a top weight

I'm gutted twin died. That was one of the fish I wanted. Star came out at 35lb last week so down in weight quite a bit. But she looked well so hopefully she will get upto 40+ again very soon. Good luck where ever you are fishing now mate 😁🎣👍👍🤞

Hi Mark, well 10 out of 10 for sticking with it,that weed is too much for me mate...Lovely fish though, I fished those kakes some years ago its a lovely setting..Video is first class I've said before Carpology or someone else will pick you out mark my words (no pun intended) ha,ha...

Cheers mate. Your comments are always encouraging. It would be nice to get some paid work. The bait company thing I worked on before didn't really work out for me. I did one video for them but they wanted alot for a little so I will be looking at other avenues. I'm glad your still enjoying the vlogs. I'm trying to change them up a bit so it's more of a visual story than me spouting my crap Suffolk accent all the time😂😂😂. 👍🎣🎣🎣

Hi Mark, enjoy your vlogs, creative and great camera work. Can I ask what is the low tripod you use and do you use a steady cam for talking directly into the camera? Cheers, from a fellow vlogger. Keep up the good work.

I used to use my phone on a osmo 2 gimble but my phone only goes down to 30 fps and I shoot all of my stuff in 25 fps apart from the slow mo stuff. 😁👍🎣🎣

Hi Chris. Those are the Xtd 14000's. I use the Xtd 5500's on my little 9ft scope set up. Prologic are about to release some brand new reels which I will probably feature in my vlogs soon. Also check out the T Rex reels from Okuma. Lovely little reels and perfect for smaller waters. 👍🎣😁

Hi mate. Thank you for your comment 😁👍. The bivvy is a Trakker Tempest v2 bivvy with a skull cap. Excellent bivvy. I also use a Wychwood HD MHR brolly. Also an excellent brolly. 👍😁
