Ecton is a a stunning complex of lakes in the Nene valley run by Luke Taylor. Whilst up there doing a bit of filming a while back I managed to catch from two of the lakes on the complex and Luke mentioned The Ecton Gauntlet, the challenge was to catch a carp from each pf the 4 lakes and the river nene, apparently it had never been done in a season... not one to take a challenge lightly I got fully stuck in and thoroughly enjoyed flitting around the picturesque complex trying to make it happen!
