What a fisherman , real urban fisher , bounces round London with all his gear on public transport !! No one does it better not even close! Then he turns up n catches monsters , real understanding of carp , fishing and nature. What a guy xx
@@khamzatchimaev3505 It’s actually not very weedy. It’s full of Lily pads and eel grass. So it’s important to hit the rod as fast as possible to avoid the carp charging it’s way through👊🏻
@khamzatchimaev3505 why would you not hit your rod ASAP when your fishing a weedy venue? As Jacob stated you want too hit it quickly too get it away from the weed before it goes ploughing through it all. Just my opinion mate
Most carp anglers I know, rock up, week in week out at their syndicate, power barrow round to their spots, spomb, rods out, then social and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that BUT this style of fishing just appeals to me so much more! Reminds me of growing up, getting the bus in to town with all my gear, to fish the park lake or the river or balancing all my gear on me mums shopping bike, seat box balanced in the basket at the front and the rest hanging off me from every direction, falling off a dozen times before I got there. What great memories...
Just watched this video brilliant mate i am a club match angler, but found this compelling and enlightening to watch.Fantastic and interesting watch.Tight lines.
So glad i found ya chan mate and honestly that common you caught might be one of the best looking dark commons ive ever seen, such a beaut. Keep up the hard work man. you deserve more..
Beautiful mix of events. Interesting place to fish. Love summer rain The reason they feed up current is they have more control over what they choose to eat....
Another absolute banging 💥💥 film mate, really well done Jacob, the filming on the fly type content interspersed with regular camera angles makes for an excellent piece. All the best . 🙏☮️🙏
Use to be epic perch in that stream spent so many days fishing there during the late 90s. I cant believe how much its changed from looking at this video.
Nice work as always Jacob. I love hunting my carp. My early work took me from the north west to London in the 80s where I was amazed to find some of the first urban carp in ponds on Clapham Common and in the park lake at Crystal Palace. I loved it, it kept me sane in the urban jungle as I wasn’t expecting to find carp in the big city at all. It brings back so many memories, great stuff.😊
Great video , nice simmo caught by that old disabled man with a match net at the end too .Nice to see youngsters helping people with inadequate tackle and disability to enjoy fishing 👏
❤what a guy well done for being so gracious in Defeat when you netted the big one for that angler lol you was well chuffed that was his time and I'm certain you're time will come and when it does let's hope you can share the footage on here again you can't be disappointed you caught some proper fish along the way so well done fella
I have fished the copper mill stream in the 90's with my old man. Not a lot has changed. The carp however are looking beautiful in there now, I must say. The whole video was the boll**ks! Very well put together as in the whole story campaign, editing and audio on point as well. Cant wait for the winter return. Keep up the good work 👍
I loved fishing on this stream years ago caught some lovely Perch Roach and Chubb does anyone know where all these fish went cos don’t see anything in there anymore I did hear it was something to do with a water pump somebody else said that the cormorants ate all the fish
I dought cormerants would do that mate cuz an ecosystem always finds its way of staying balanced but it is probs pollution like whats happened in almost all if not all the rivers in the uk
awesome fishing!. love the resilience after loosing that mirror. did you just plug a bottle of watter haha. makes river fishing look a doddle, and we all know its not!. cracking fishing!
Fiste video seeing of this guy. love the style of fishing. HATE that i heard you say '' the lead come of allready'' . why not using lead substitutes?? use stone weights instead!
