Found this video after watching your other video on using peas, wanted to know more about link ledgering. Got to admit I found your totally awesome secret by accident last session, just dropping some of my method pellets by the side of the platform. Half way through the session I spotted sized carp 4 feet from me in the water feeding. Wasn't really setup for it, but dropped a fresh method in the middle and pulled that carp out. It's convinced me to get a spare whip for using up close and personal.
That episode when you got that carp was amazing, I would love to catch a carp that big. I love your videos mate and I started fishing when i was 9, im now 11 and I have learnt alot of tips from your videos, they are very interesting as well. Keep up the good work!
the little tactic with the close range bait works, im a clumsy fisher and i dropped a tub of micros in and when i shipped the pole out an hour later a 7lb carp just took my 8mm

to peclaus: yes sir. i would've pulled it out of him. love this video though. i always fished like this, of course minus the alarm system and only one stick to keep the rod off the deck, in both salt and fresh water, works like a charm on different species...
thanks for all the tips but could u make a video on a lake called keston ponds it a free lake but its so hard to fish but has big carp to 35 pound never seen any 1 catch one of the monsters in that lake (thanks for the tips)
Great video! 1 question though, when fishing in depths of about 2 feet I notice that the bread rises to just underneath the surface of the water. How can I make sure that it's sinking to the bottom? How often should I check/re-bait?
Sounds like you haven't quite squeezed it hard enough to make it go down. But make sure the hook point is showing. And don't squeeze it too hard in colder weather.
In the video you fold the hook into the middle of the bread though? I've used this technique a lot, it's a very successful method! Thanks for the tips!
