Carp fishing in winter can be difficult if you choose the wrong venue, but get it right and it can be action-packed. Carp will feed right through the winter on 'runs' waters and with the right baits and rigs they can be caught when they are in their best condition and look awesome.
To prove how good sport can be I join Matt Cuff on the banks of the prolific day ticket Viaduct Fishery in Somerset for a short action-filled morning session in search of carp.
Matt demonstrates the tactics he uses to sort out the better fish and ends up with a big catch of February carp to over twenty pounds!
