In this carp fishing 2021 video we take a look at a NEW selection of hookbaits to join the extensive range of carp fishing baits at Mainline - the QUADS!
As their name suggests the Quads have a square-like shape, which can potentially create difficulty for carp trying to eject your rig, and add another dimension to your carp fishing approach. Available as both pop-ups and bottom baits, RU-vid presenter and top carper John Kneebone runs through all the characteristics of the new Quads, as well as looking at their potential uses.
What's more, John also turns to our overhead camera to show you how to tie a simple carp fishing pop-up rig thats perfect for the Quads with an easy-to-follow step-by-step guide!

Hi. I am new to carp fishing . My question is. When the rules at a lake says no braid how do I make my hook length ?

Hi Anthony, in most cases that means no braided main line but you'll need to double check.

Suppose there jus a timesaver i no its only a few seconds but those few seconds are vital when u cud have had ur rod in the water and it only takes 2 seconds for a fish to take your hook bait,,, i dunno just how my mind works if i can save seconds on the bank i will

hi, great video, iv just bought these, i want to use a size 4-6 fox arma point wide gape hook. how many of the quads would it take to set it in that same ‘prone’ position that your rig was in the clip of the rig in the test tank.

#mainlinebaits looks interesting for a snowman/pva bait. Although i prefer a different rig for my pva fishing. Chod like d-rig (D section made of a little piece of mouth trap) with 4 inches long braid hooklink. Good luck to all on winning.

You missed a trick. The Rhombahedron is the perfect shape. Thin - fat - thin. Allows good exposure of the hook also. And you could have marketed them as Diamonds or Diamond Baits! ... granted these aren't far off. And if you use one of the corners as the point of attachment. It achieves a similar thing.
