strongly appreciate how every single person in this music video just looks like a regular person. like, the 'bad guy' at the end just looks like someone's dad Too much apocalyptic media just has 'bandits' roaming the wilderness doing generic evil shit. watching some regular dad trying to shoot a child in the back in front of his friends/family really fucked me up. fuck.

This track was just played on the PA system at the Andy Murray vs Kei Nishikori tennis match!! Fantastic song, spent a while learning in on the piano last week, would love to see a sheet music book of Carpenter Brut music released. It's rare that such banging music has such clever chords and elaborate musical structure.

The absence of dialogue heightens the sense of desolation we get from the very beginning, we know only what we see, and even that is questionable. Stumbled on this video by accident then had to finish it. Always enjoyed the Music, happy to say the videos are measuring up as well. To Hell with the haters. Keep creating.
