I think this is the best integration of a fireplace in a tiny home I've ever seen. Usually it feels very obtrusive, out of place, and awkwardly positioned, but here it feels organic and ergonomic. *chef's kiss*
I agree! Every other fireplace I've seen in a tiny house just doesn't feel like it belongs and uses too much space. This fireplace fits in perfectly in the corner and looks beautiful.(at first I thought it was and Ethanol-fireplace) However, in my opinion he shouldn't have put the second door by the fireplace. I would have inserted a window with a seating area or just the open wall and add more seating as well. But overall, a great design for a tiny house
@@waltervega8730 I absolute agree with you. I think not having that wall open up to the exterior and instead having just a wall would make it so much more tucked in and cozier.
I stayed in this tiny house as an air-bnb guest a few years ago and it was a wonderful experience. It was actually one of my first exposures to tiny houses and it made a great impressions.I'm a big fan! I highly recommend this air-bnb if you are in the area or planning a drive through BC.
Great solution for the “bed roller off-ers!” 🤣😂 But seriously, it is a beautiful home. The curved stair-ladder and the genius pull-out storage in the bathroom are things I’ve never seen before! 👏🏻👏🏻
The "Wow" factor is incredible for this tiny house. I love the lines and exterior design. Robert Johnson if this was your first tiny house, that is amazing. The interior is functional and I love the fireplace. Great work all around.
I just adore the cultural influences around the home. The carving on the front door is amazing. It doesn't seem like a tiny house as it gives the appearance of having more space with the lighter coloured walls and kitchen. The fire place looks nice and cosy but the sofa is lacking that comfy feeling. Great kitchen with plenty of space to move. My only issue is the ladders but that's just an individual thing. Making more of these would be a great idea and it can attract people to come and experience a First Nation Culture. Well done.🇦🇺
I recognized the house right away from Robert Johnson's EsketHouse RU-vid channel. He posted step by step as it was being built. It was fascinating to watch it come together. It's so nice to see an update! Nothing has changed much, which shows he got it right the first time ☺ (Imo, I would hide the water heater, but everything else is perfect and brilliant.)
Wow! Such a beautiful and creative home. Glad to see that the art of true carpentry is still alive. So tire of boring track like homes with no personality. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.
This Esk’et Tiny house inspired by fish is an incredible architecture, perfectly done. A firework add the perfect touch of feeling good when you enter. The kitchen is so neat with a reasonable surface to prepare meals or simply work. I love the sculpted door he is really an artist.Of course the landscape of the reserve is a dream! Thanks for this video!
That front door! It is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. What an incredible way to put your values on your front door. The outer design of the house is eye-catching. The inside is charming. What is even more charming is the builder and narrator. He gave lots of helpful strategies and the entire house is such a respectful inclusion of his heritage.
One of the most beautiful tiny homes I have seen, and I love the whole thinking behind it. Esk'et also looks to be a beautiful place. God bless you all for not only the work you put into these beautiful creations, but also for sharing them with us. Thank you
Thank you all so much for sharing this perfect little home with everyone. I have watched about a gazillion tiny house vids & this is the 1 that we feel will work best for our family ( with a teeny bit of tweeking here & there ). Built with such a good mindset, it appears to be utterly fullfilling on so many levels. Both thoughtful and thought provoking at the same timej
I love this tiny home, it has alot of character, it's decorated beautifully. The fire place is very nice. I have seen wood burners in tiny homes but not a fireplace. Thank you for sharing ❣️
Wow...! What a beautiful and brilliant design. Very unique. And I didn’t expect the interior to be modern, non clutter and just feel so welcoming. Love ❤️ Love the roof design. Amazing.
A beautiful home that's cozy and welcoming! I especially love the carven-salmon/bear front door, the unique ladders, the salmon pillows, and fireplace. Everything about the tiny is wonderful! Jenny
The designer of this building should not stop! He obviously is one of the rare visionaries in our world. Like, what’s that one home designer...? OMG I can’t think of his name, but I will come back and edit my comment when I do. This guy has massive talent and needs to go to college to be a Residential architect. No question this man has the intellectual capacity and desire for it. If he does not everyone will be cheated out of his genius
Ha! I thought of it! Frank Loyd Wright ! This young man has mad potential that is not being used. Our world will be less of a cool place if he does not realize his potential
I LOVE this tiny home. I think it is cozy, homey, and spacious. The stairs are unique, the door is unique, and the story is incredibly special! It has a purpose that I haven't heard of before. Only thing I would have changed is make the "bed roller off-er" cubbies taller to allow to actually hang some clothes and that bit of privacy too. Awesome stuff :)
What a gorgeous place! The carvings are both beautiful and meaningful, and the roofline is so creative. Also, best ladder ever! One of the best tiny houses I've ever seen.
Wow Robert, you are so talented. The roof and door, bathroom, sliding bathroom frosted perfectly, kitchen area is a good size and functional. Two lofts in that space is amazing. Not senior citizens friendly, need a bdrm downstairs, just saying. And a sofa with drawers underneath for storage. I'm sure this meets your needs. Blessings, protection, financial stability, good health, faith hope love to you and your future TINY House buildings.
This is one of the most beautiful tiny home I've ever see.😍🤩🥰 That front door and eves are so special and gorgeous. Wish them all the very best for the future. Xxx ❤❤❤💖💖💖
I love this place! + the builder ;) Truly, beautiful build, story, and purpose. I found myself appreciating his personality + the relatability of his approach as a host, especially when describing technical feats in the construction. Happy also to learn about Esk'et and to see First Nations representation among tiny media and community!
One of the nicest small homes I've seen. Robert, I hope you build many more. Love the roof and all the space it provides. Really top notch. Definitely going to follow Roberts work.
