There is An Irish singer, Toni Lee, who sings like Karen Carpenter. I saw her show in 2017, in Sittard, a town, in thé provinz Limburg in thé Netherlands. I loved her show. It was about thé Carpenters en she sings like Karen. On RU-vid, you can find her performance.

I lived on her music in the 70's. Her voice is a God talent. I am so sorry to only see her hip bones through that dress as she sang Ava Maria. Karen. You were loved. Not because of your weight, but for your talent. Many of us wish that. Your exceptional voice. God is blessing you forever.

For 50 years,since 1970,the Carpenters have always been synonymous with Christmas.With the heavenly voice of Karen and the awesome arrangements of Richard, that tradition will carry on for decades to come. I just wish that the radio stations would play the ballad version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town-my favorite!

Truly miss Karen !! I was 17 years old when she passed in February 1983. In Highschool. My mom told me when I got home from school. I was so stunned. U only wish that Karen was able to really accept the gifts of her beautiful singing voice. And that she was Not fat or overweight!! . She was such a beautiful person . Her mother favored Richard more than her and that bad creep she married just used her to pay gambling debts and verbally abused her. Causing her even more self esteem issues. Christmas was made beautiful by the Carpenter’s their music and specials . Miss you dearly Karen . Merry Christmas to you❤🎄🌟🎅🏻⛄️❄️🇨🇦🇨🇦😉

She sings sooo effortlessly. Her voice is like silk. She doesn’t even need to open her mouth very wide! As a vocalist, I marvel at her gift and craft!❤️‍🔥 I still grieve that she was taken SO young with a vicious disease. I cannot WAIT to her her in heaven and sing harmony with her!!!!💟✝️☮️ Also, I had absolutely NO idea what a fantastically talented pianist Richard was!! Oh Holy Night is beyond glorious!

Karen's voice just melts your heart. So sad that she didn't realize how beautiful she was. You can see how gaunt her frame is from the effects of her eating disorder. Despite her suffering, she was able to give us so much joy through her gift of singing. There'll never be another like her.

Sadly, it was the managers and producers that took her off the drums and wanted her to be in front. They are the ones that were critical of how she should look and that led to her eating disorder. There was nothing wrong with the way we were raised, in the Cities surrounding Los Angeles County. Downey, Paramount , Bellflower, Mayflower, Lakewood, Long Beach, were law abiding and respectful families and unfortunately, the film and music industries wanted those involved to be at their money making standard that wasn't how we were raised.

I listen to The Carpenters music all year around, but certainly the Christmas songs are among my favorites. The Carpenters are unique. From the lyrics, the music arrangement, Karen's beautiful voice and how Richard 's voice was a perfect compliment to hers, to the whole shows their presented and how they could reach all age audience, there will be no other like them. Thanks for letting us hear this. Remeber seeing it with my Mom an Step Dad years ago. He took me to see the Carpenters in Baton Rouge Louisiana many moons agos. I was 14 an im 64 now. Apsolutely loved it an i tried to dress like Karen in her nice dresses.Always will Love them. 😇😇💝💝

This shows you that we are all God's property. That it not about skin pigmentation. This is about your high energy and frequency that some have over others. I rank Karen Carpenters voice as one of the top female voices on this planet. I love you Mrs.Karen Carpenter wherever your energy exists. I know she is singing on the Heavenly Choir. Very talented person who had to unfortunately deal with a mental and physical health issues that was really just getting started.

With all the anger and hatred people have in themselves today, the greed, the entitlement, the racial animosity, it's an escape to more calmful and restive moments when one listens to the Carpenters during the Holiday Season. Karen Carpenter has such a unique & amazing voice. There is no one like her. This is so great to see as I have only been able to hear her on the radio at Christmas time. Thank you Billy Rees for uploading!!! Happy Holidays.
