KAREN'S favourite ever song. .. beautifully arranged and performed. They did everything so well. She was and will always be the greatest ever female singer. Such depth emotion purity and clarity in her voice.
One of my favorite songs. At the time of the release I was a teenager. Though going through a tough time the song brought a comfort to me. In fact it was sort of a friend. Now that Ms Karen has been gone so long ago I can understand the pain she may have felt. At least that is my opinion. I hate she left at such an early age. Somehow I feel I knew her. All of us that listen to the Carpenters certainly miss her.
This song always breaks my heart. Not only was it Karen's favourite song but the song almost mirrors Karen's life, sadly. She had the voice of an angel, she is, in my opinion the greatest female vocalist ever.
I agree with you. There are a lot of singers I like, but none of them have ever come close to making me feel the way I do when I listen to Karen, she was one of a kind.

I grew up with The Carpenters - Karen's voice was the greatest inspiration for me to sing and be heard......I loved her and still ball my eyes out whenever I hear her beautiful voice, the voice of an angel. They were both so talented....thank you for the music and the memories!
Her passing was just 33. Here I am, 33, this 2019 I hope, I can continue her legacy by just singing their music. I love sing her songs with my baritone voice. Thank you Karen
I have had the great privilege to growing up by Carpenters music but this song is aiming me stright to my heart !! I hope that Karen found a love of Her life up in Heaven !!

I have heard this song many times on the radio way back when i was a child, I remember this because of how the song was played so well that even as a kid I understand that it was good even though i do not know who sang it. After 50 years it still is the same song i remember quite well.
Just awesome video. The Carpenters were, and are my favorite. I miss Karen's great voice, and Richard's great arrangements. Could you imagine what they could have done if Karen were still here? So grateful for the great recordings they did do. Thank you for posting this.
Think of the wonderful hits that could have been but will never be, because she left us at 33. Not being selfish, just just sort of let down, bewildered and saddened.
