There are a great many reasons that The Carpenters made legendary music, not the least of which was Richard Carpenter (Karen's brother). His arrangements were brilliant. You, too, give birth to outstanding arrangements, deconstructing these songs & putting them back together just so.

Yes. I think of Karen and how she had such a rough life and how she struggled with anorexia. I was a battle she ultimately lost but she left behind such beautiful footprints such as this.
