When using your knee kicker to move your stretcher, there is a notch on the back corner to accept the kicker face. Otherwise you risk tearing your carpet by kicking under your stretcher.
Not to be a spoil sport but 2:10 on the video the extra tack strip you put in front of the wood floor was the wrong way round. But apart from that it's a great video not keen on the music though👍
sausage man Thank you for watching! I didn't even notice that when I was there! This was a re stretch job so I didn't install the tack strip. Good eyes!
If you actually watch that video there is a newer tack strip in front of the laminate transition. It’s installed backwards. I’m assuming it’s not the only one. That’s why it’s not staying stretched
