When they realise that: a)moving your body back and forth wont help you gain speed - it will actually slow you because of the drag b) the fastest way through a race track is a racing line c) there is something called slipstreaming maybe they will win more races
I think you're wrong about a. except at high speeds when the extra air resistance is a stronger force than whatever it is that helps the vehicle roll better as a result
I disagree... This is the first one of these races I've seen where he spent the entire first 2-1/2 minutes in the draft of the leader! However... as soon as he got out of it... He started to get passed!

I don't think you know what you're talking about regarding jolting the vehicle to help it roll along, but neither do I, but to me it felt like it had a benefit on a scooter I use and I strongly suspect that they tested the effects.
