Yes it can get expensive with buying the different curves and extra straights and borders(shoulders)are a big additional item to . Have fun with relatives 🤗
This past week I’ve bought two 1:43 GO sets(used) and had one donated to me. Like you I intend to run them on my regular Carrera track. But for fun I setup the Go track only to try the loop. The magnetic down force plays a big part in being able to get around the loop. Will be passing on the track to someone else but I now have eight Go cars for having fun with. Your track looks fantastic and I think that your neighbour’s should be flocking over to race in the Latvian Super Speedway 🏆

Thanks for the shout out! The 1/43 is a nice size slot car. what voltage you running 14.8? The 1/43 work so well and grip to our policar track surface so good we run 16.1v and probably can go even higher. The cars don't bottom out on our track we actually true all there tires also but I did notice some of those DTM cars like you have the magnet is real close other ones are not that low in the car. They do run much better with just a little tire truing just to get some of the out of roundness off you don't need to go crazy making sure all the rubber hits perfectly to the track and hey work much better. Your going to like the F1 cars those are really nice! Happy slotting!
Cheers Steve ,I have a couple of F1s on the way . Yes that car had almost zero ground clearance. But it was fixable....those tryes definitely need trueing . Some day ile maybe buy a machine for doing it .at the moment I just use some wet n dry paper .appreciate you commenting mate 🤗
Great vid Harry! I've got several of the GO cars. I tried one without the magnet, but it was terrible, even on my Policar track, so I just leave the magnets in these lol. I wish someone made aftermarket tires to try for these, then they might do okay without the magnet and weight added. But these are just cheap little cars, so they are fine the way they are to me, still very fun. Cheers!
Interesting video! As you know we have fun racing Carrera Go 1/43 slot cars on our 1/24 scale Carrera track like yours. I do have one F1 Carrera Go 1/43 scale Slot Car the number 5 red F1 RayBan Shell that has substantially smaller diameter tires than the other Carrera Go 1/43 scale Slot Car the number 14 BWT blue and pink F1 car. The red #5 does hang occasionally and my friends convinced me the tire diameter is what the problem is as there is no visible rubbing in that area you filed down on your Audi. The BWT F1 is a brilliant runner with no problems. But neither match the generic Ali Express F1 that is my fastest car ever that cost less than 10.00usa delivered. It was also pointed out to me that the high torque motors in these Carrera Go cars need the magnets. So if you want to run that Audi with no magnets then get a lower torque motor for it now that you shaved that underside down a bit no larger diameter tires should be needed. Yes 4 F1s would be something to behold! Glad you are getting into the 1/43 scale and you might be surprised with the HO slot cars as we are as they work great on the same track!🏁
I really enjoyed the 143, and after shaving that bit from the magnet mount, it runs great with no more sticking . I have ordered 2 F1 cars ,one from Carrera and one from SCX ,they should be here next week so I'm interested to see how they run before committing to which brand I prefer 🤗 1/43 will definitely have a place in the collection but I won't get any Ho scale as I was never a fan . But I'm happy I now have 3 different scales that can be run on the track 🙂Appreciate you watching and commenting mate 🤗
