Keep churning out these super helpful vids! have you used the external fuel tanks yet? Do they just add to the percentage or do we have to activate them?
If you go over it with the camera you can see that it always have 500/500 fuel, and if you go manual and fire it you just drop the tank. Or at least that happened to me before on the middle of the ocean, I think they add percentage fuel, and the rest is bugged
I found the direction you drag a line between islands is critical to the direction of inventory travel. i.e. drag from the resource island back to the warehouse. I had mine tied in knots by not taking notice of this and the barges were dropping stuff everywhere!
Something I have noticed. If you start a custom game and give yourself a few islands the logistics are already set up. How they are set up is how I think the developers intended it to work. All islands are connected to the warehouse. The barge is only connected to the warehouse. And I think the warehouse is connected to the carrier(can't remember is this is true or not). I played around like that and it worked
It just occurred to me that the carrier is not nuclear powered. A US Nimitz-class carrier's reactor only has to be refueled every 25 years -- and could probably go for years longer, if it were necessary. On that note: how much fuel does the carrier in the game carry? I was looking to queue up a barge, but I realised that I didn't know how much I needed to refuel.
Can't you have stuff made at the islands and have the barge bring it directly from there to the carrier?...or does it only bring things to the carrier from the warehouse?
Hello. What is the exact name of the ammunition for the main gun? I mean the artillery we need to clean the island. I just gained an island that can produce some 130mm. I did and ordered a bunch, but they don't want to reload. What a mess! I'm super confused.
The barges are useless I've been playing for about 2 hours waiting for a delivery of munitions, barge refuses to take it from the island to the warehouse, then from the warehouse to me. No idea what I am doing wrong if anything.
Hmmm, try this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KKkdrvXe02s.html Might help you out. Make sure your warehouse is connected to your carrier and you have a barge assigned to the warehouse island.
I don't know if i ran into a glitch or something, but i ran into a snag. I got the logistic system set-up as follows. Production islands are connected to the warehouse island and warehouse island is connected to the carrier. Barges are connected to the production islands, and ferry the stuff created there to the warehouse as they should. What ISN'T happening - the stuff from warehouse island isn't delivered to the carrier for some reason. I've been waiting for an order for ages, but nothing happened. I tried to manually assign more barges to warehouse island, to production islands, to carrier, nothing seems to work. The only movement of cargo is from the production island to the warehouse island, and there it sits unused, probably because some bureaucrat forgot to stamp some form or whatever. Heeeelp. I got bored re-wiring the whole network for the tenth time and waiting for the barge that never shows up, so i cheated the requested items in, but i don't want to play this way going forward... :-/ Is there something i overlooked? ALL the production islands funnel everything onto the latest warehouse island, but not to the carrier. Why?
@@Atova Oh yeah, i managed, thanks for asking! I don't know where the problem was. It was in a situation where i moved all of the stock from one warehouse island to one closer to the carrier. And while the stock was moving from W1 to W2, it stopped there and wasn't moving further from W2 to the carrier. But it somehow "woke up" when i manually disconnected everything and reconnected again (the funny thing - i didn't actually change anything. Everything is wired the same way as it was, but now it works, while before - it didn't. Just the ole switch off and on again method). There was an update around the time when the problem started, so maybe that's what broke it...
the video was helpfull, but theres one thing i cant figure out, how i connect the lines between islands, google says i just need to click and drag on it from point A to B but that doesnt do anything
Apologies if I haven't covered something, what would you like to know? I showed how to do loadouts, set up your network supply, how to read the stock screen, how to see what the barges are doing, what the bars on loadouts mean, how the barge delivery screen works and a summary of the currency screen.
