I made a playlist that has all my easter egg songs here. CONVENIENT! ru-vid.com/group/PLE4CE8488145CA2A5 Pro tip: There are some items that can only travel in your carry-on bag (and some items that must be checked). Make sure you know where to pack these restricted items - and if you can carry them on.
@@oldreaddy3341 Dude when this song came out people hated it just because Elena wasn't the singer. It was probably the first real sign that the zombies community doesn't like change.
"In my dream is the sound of a lullaby" - Lullaby for a Deadman from Verruckt "Calling me the one" - The One from Shi No Numa "I'm undone" - Undone from Nacht Der Untoten (Black Ops version) "The chosen one 1 5" - 115 from Kino Der Toten "Asking 'why must I be damned?'" - "Damned" is the name of the main theme song for Zombies mode "Vermin martyr, just as planned" - Reference to a lyric from Coming Home from Moon Comment if I missed any ALRIGHT everyone, it's 2023 now, over 6 years since I posted this comment. I'll finally add "Vermin Martyr" from Coming Home.
Did anybody else save the last teddy bear when shit started hitting the fan at high rounds so they can play the song when they were the last one to make themselves seem more bad ass? Or was that just me?
My bf always did that. He knew around what level the rest of the team would start dropping like flies and would start the song right then. Always made it more epic!
Tranzit was a map with a great concept that wasn't executed very well. My friends and I have a love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes it can be really demoralizing when you're lost in the fog, or go down and have to drive all around to get your perks. But I also have some fond, fun memories. This song is playing as me and two other split screen buddies are firing rounds at hundreds of zombies, with lava and fire everywhere, zombies exploding and being dismembered. Or outrunning and escaping the electric zombie on the bus lol. Tranzit also has potential for some great challenges, such as never leaving the bus.
+Bob Builder Lol you just have to be good at zombies to play it and have to know the entire map and how to get around without the bus. It was a great map just hard to get to high rounds. Ill admit pack a punch was a bitch especially solo mode
i think most other maps are boring compared to tranzit. theyre so linear. in tranzit theres so much to do. if only they could make more maps like tranzit.....
driftking4 Yeah. It felt very non-linear. I'd love to have more maps with a similar concept of using a form of transportation to reach other areas, with not using the transportation making it much more difficult/impossible. There are other maps with transportation, but they don't have nearly the impact as the Tranzit bus did.
Filip Lange It's because of the fog, being constantly assaulted by the denizens (Which make it much more difficult to fight zombies and revive others) and getting lost, forcing a reliance on the bus, which may take a while if you wait for it.
there were at release 3 diferent easter egg songs depending on the order you activated the teddys 1: Carrion from Kevin Sherwood 2: Carry On from Avenged Sevenfold 3: Imma Try it Out from Skrillex
Yes it has to be I mean the first riddle was easy but the second was impossible to solve without googling it "I'm what men love more than life, fear more than death or mortal strife, what dead men have and rich require, I'm what contended men desire"
+Thenextworldwar All of the songs have something in common with each other. For example, in Archangel It says "We burn together forever waiting for the one" Which you could say is a reference to the song "The One." If you listen to all of the songs, there is a story that they are telling us. Kevin really did a great job making these songs.
If that wasn't enough the mystery link leads to a Facebook photo of a scene from the Black ops mission with Dr Clarke..... Specifically the tape recorded you interact with that leads..... To the Thundergun
I like the contrast between humanity and Sam/ Zombies in EE songs. "Your life will now Cease to carry On" "Somehow we still Carry On" (Although Carry on wasnt specifically for zombies) "I know you will never give up and die" "Im not ready to die" And so on. Because, this is what zombies has been about since the beginning. Even since this joke of a mode made in spare time was being passed around Treyarch's studio, it was never giving up, and pushing that round count as high as possible that got them hooked. Its always been about Carrying on. And they carried on with developing the mode, put it into the game, and Players carrying on playing it led to them Carrying on developing it.
Why do I keep seeing comments that this song wasn't received well, even hated? 😭 man I was hooked to this song the first time I heard it! I wish we'd get more from Kev; don't get me wrong Elena and Malukah are amazing, but Kevin did a phenomenal job here if you ask me. I don't see why we can't have the 3 🤘
Alright, Kevin does all of them, he's done Zombie Music since Nacht, Clark is the singer here. Kevin Sherwood does all the background music and singing is usually done by Elena or Malukah and sometimes the other will do the background vocals, but Clark is the male singer for some of these, not Kevin. But all 4 are legends if you ask me.
Honestly first time I heard it a couple months ago and I think part of thew reason is it's hard not to compare it to "Carry on" by Avenged Sevenfold, which in my opinion is better because a7x is a legendary band, however this is still definitely great
When I was playing Tranzit, for the first time ever this song came on and I was like "What the fuck is that?" Because it came out of nowhere. But I continued playing and I realized this song is so badass in Tranzit, especially if a huge horde is coming and you're mowing it down with your team. So I looked it up and here I am. I plan on buying it on iTunes. Great work c:
msSilentKiller I'm going say thumbs up instead of selecting thumbs up. I feel that this separates me from the pack like bringing $2 bills to a strip club.
I'm currently writing a little story for fun with a character who is slowly going insane as his sinful desires grow and he tries to fight against them because he has come to hate what he has become. He of course switches between that and wholly enjoying what he is doing. This song has been a great companion for the process.
You do know that the story already tells his background rite, and explains what happens to him, like *SPOILERS* richtofen takes over his body after shanghai, so, doesn't matter. *SPOILERS*
@@justinlindfors8512 it is easy to get to jug round one just go to the bridge on round 1 from bus depot and if you have money in bank you can get jug on round 1 or 2
@@desolatortrooper7196 You can all you need to do is have a turbine and open the power and place the turbine by the ak74u wall buy and then run or take the bus to town
better than buried. tranzit sucked to set up but was decent once you were set up. Buried was just the most boring map i have ever played. i dislike it more than shangri la
*there was a beautiful moment where your holding out in nacht - and all the rando's know the lyrics, that your shrieking this song into the night on round 20*
I remember at the time when I thought "Bring back Elena damn it, I don't want this guy with his crappy song". Me after 10 years, a "Dead Ended", "I am the well", "Stormbound" and a career as a composer and musician later: Clark, you're the best, more songs please.
@@johnderat2652 here are the lyrics to it: I can fly like a bird not in the sky Which can always swim and always dry I say goodbye at night and morning hi I'm part of you, what am I? I follow and lead as you pass Dress yourself in black my darkness lasts I flee the light, but without the sun Your view of me would be gone If you really look at it enough, you can see why
@@HolyFlare484 Oh I see. And since the second riddle is: I am what men love more than life Fear more than death or mortal strife What dead men have and rich require I'm what contented men desire The answer to that one is "nothing" then ?
+Sebastian Lopez Lol that's what I was saying. It kinda sucks that this song cant go to a good map. I just hope that shadows of Evil is not going to be another tranzit. Treyarch is trying to make a huge map, with new characters and I also heard a rumor that there is going to be like a subway system or something.
I was spawned from eternal night By infernal rite and I need your carrion Neurons fire when I violate pupils dilate and I feel your carrion I bring doom and defile light your entire life will now cease to carry on I've returned and I'm not alone never to atone and forever carry on and on until everyone is gone hear their begging and their pleading and their crying see them bleeding and they run and run til' they cannot carry on carry on carrion carry on Is it wrong that I find this part amazing...
Holy shit, after all this time, I only just realised a really clever detail in this song that is hidden behind multiple layers of secrecy. Theres alot of connection between lyrics in these songs, but this line takes the cake: Shadow, Nothing, all I am. You crazy Bastard Kevin, those are the answers to Abracadavre's riddles in the verses, shadow, and nothing. Thats not even a reference to something thats in another song, but a part of the song that requires solving. Truly fitting of the level of secrecy this mode has always been about. Kevins a damn genius.
it was just hatted for dumb reasons the main fact that people hate it is because of the fog which was used to make sure the game can load all the areas your heading to without you seeing them so the game would not crash, while the denizens were used to slow the player down so again you would not crash the game from going too fast from one area to the next. In terms of originality, I give it a 10/10.
Right now I'm currently playing this song as I'm playing town on my PS3. God, I love this game. Love the song, absolutely love Tranzit. This was the last good CoD game, and I'm tired of pretending it isn't
I always love revisiting the Nacht Der Untoten Easter egg in Tranzit. It was a pretty nice nostalgic blast from the past. Thanks for the many years of awesome music Kevin.
@@Sky_The_Wight "carry on" is a song from the end of the campaign, yes. but there used to be a time where you could play it in tranzit before it was patched out.
Everybody seems to hate transit but to be honest transit I think is one of the best zombie maps ever like I have all the DLC‘s but it still one of my favorite lapsed play to this day
Mlumps TranZit is good imo, better than any other zombie map in BO2 besides Buried. TranZit was so big and just brought a new experience to zombies, it was amazing.
