Hi @Brian_Lau The roll top zipper does not appear to be aquaguard zippers, but I believe are still weather resistant. More often than not, the top would be rolled down to protect the zipper so I wouldn't worry too much about possible water getting in. I hope that helps!

Hi @Brian_Lau Personally I would say that the aesthetic is more than acceptable for professional use in most cases. Between the two bags, it really comes down to what you need to carry on a daily basis as well as consideration for any possible "extras" you might need to carry from time to time (such as extra clothes, tech gear for the office etc.) I hope that helps! I’m so close to buying it. I had just got my elements pro backpack when they announced this one. Do you think the elements pro is too small? I do so I’m thinking of getting this one

Hi Joel! Thanks for checking out my video! Because my work/daily carry is not too extensive, the Elements Pro is perfect for my everyday needs. But when I have to do a day trip or travel domestically, the Shift Pack is my go-to instead. I have both so that I can have that versatility, but if you have to choose between the 2, I would say the Shift is more versatile overall. Hope that helps!

Nice vid! I am surprised there isn't a whole lot of info out there about the Shift V2.. I can 't decide between the Prvke 31 and this one. Any experience with the Prvke and how the main compartments compare in terms of packing space? Primarily for packing cubes?

Hi Tisk! Thanks for checking out my video! Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try out the Prvke bag, but after taking a look at it, I can see the appeal. Personally, I'd say the Shift is more focused on travel/longer treks whereas the Prvke is more towards "everyday" bag usage if that makes sense. They both have their pros and cons. For me I'm fortunate to have a bag for different occasions, but if you're looking to minimize the amount of bags you want to have around, I'd lean on the Shift as it is more versatile and can adapt to a variety of situations. I hope that helps!

I have the Prvke 31 but don't have the Shift V2. Here is what I can say. Both pack are similar in feature, but the Alpaka looks cleaner in esthetic. A common feature that I am not fan of is the shoulder straps linked to the back panel and not the top of the bag, it sags in full loads. Giving points for the bright interior of the Alpaka. The Prvke has so many features that it seems that if I had only one bag, I would choose it, especially since I do photography. The Alpaka is a sweet looking bag, I am considering it for commute.

The Prvke 31 is uncomfortable for me, so I will sell it. I will go with the Shift.

i just got my alpaka schift pack v2 but it is so uncomfortable on one of my shoulders and completely fine on other. i tried each and every setting but only if a pass a certain part of the strap i feel okay but then its too loose on one side. I have never faced such a problem. Also my chiropract says my shoulders are perfect. my friend tried my bag and felt same issue. does some have some insight on it?

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your Shift Pack! Have you tried reaching out to Alpaka? Perhaps it might be a manufacturing issue with the straps. Myself personally, I haven't experienced any discomfort or issues, and I've used it pretty regularly since I got it.

Hi Johnny, Sorry for my late reply, as I was looking into the issue for you. It seems that unfortunately, for the foreseeable future the discount codes will be shut down. The reason behind this change stems from users submitting discount codes to coupon scraping sites. These sites have been misusing content creator codes by embedding them in customers' carts without the customers engaging with our content and taking away any possible compensation we earn. If you still decide to make a purchase through my link, I may still receive some compensation, as well as my gratitude for supporting my channel. As a creator, I will do my best to work with Alpaka to bring back discount codes for my followers in the near future, but I also understand where they are coming from. I hope that helps!

For Axoflux Black 600D, is it also waterproof?

Hi @hishamjama3353. Sorry I missed your message! The Axoflux Black 600D is listed as waterproof, but I would say that the X-Pac material is more heavily water resistant compared to the Axoflux. Despite that, I have had to walk through the run a few times without an Umbrella and my Axoflux bags help up just fine. I hope that helps!
