I recently went to see Teri meri kahaniyan in cinema and it was a good experiment. It was housefull.not one empty seat. We should encourage local cinema.

We watched Teri Meri Kahaniyan on Sunday night and it was a full house show. We went with no expectations but had a good time. 123wan was slow and meh out of all.
54:30 honestly abhishek is actually a very sweet guy. if you see his youtube channel, he is a lot into donations and charity and a very respectful person in general as well. his way of talking is like that probably bcz he's from delhi and being a delhiite i know its the normal tone. i feel weird that people judge him on the basis of that, saying in general.

The only obstacle in the success of Pakistani films are the cinema owners. They insist on a high ticket price of Rs. 1000 or more, which is too much for a family or even a couple to spend on a film. Our films will continue to be flops at the box office until and unless film producers make a deal with the cinema owners.
I felt 123wan was pure cinema with subtle character arcs which leave you longing for more. The last dialogue actually gave me goosebumps when he says, "tumhare 123wen mard se dar gya tha...!"

I don't think if Mehwish and Wahaj were good choice as a couple.... I am not a Tere bin lover but Yumna would've been a good choice for this role! ❤️ or Hania or Mahira! And if you want to keep Mehwish then Humayun would've been a good choice, or Adnan Siddiqui if the role is a disloyal man, wahaj looked a positive character

To answer your question our TV actors are accessible that they don't have prestige value to pull an audience to theaters. they are stars when their content access is free, hance the audience who are least bothered to go see them in theaters. look at whaj fans who were so loud on internet and none of these fans showed up to support his movie.

Ok i was quite disappointed in the teaser part of Rocky and rani, but tbh trailer is too good. I am so happy that people were critizing ranveer by relating him to srk, but his character has been justified in the trailer. Ayushman has played this type of boi in chandigarh kary ashiqui, but ranveer did it good. Ayushman is phenomenal as an actor, but if u have watched that movie, u will definitely praise ranver because he isn't looking cringe at all. Aliya is playing safe as she had done this kinda role before. Ranveer is the one who will give actual masala to the movie.

Wahaj Ali stardom is everywhere and teri meri kahaniya is his first team after all that stardom but People would like to see him on HERO like roles. An angry young man - romantic kinda hero. Trailer se he there were no hero kinda vibes. Though he's a phenomemal actor but this role was not for him. I guess Feroze khan might do it definately in a better way. Flirting wala angle or eye to eye convo, Fk would rock it. Secondly teri meri kahaniyan is a tele film kinda vibe, though visions baray parday ki film walay hain but the CONTENT matter alots. And people know this will be available in youtube soom tou why waste money on Cinemas. For babylicious, What a Phenomenal Visions. But I feel this kinda films doesnt work in Pakistan. Teri Meri Kahaniyaan: I'm sorry Iman, but I feel you totally miss out the nuances & subtleties in a story & express your views without realizing that things don't always have to be so heightened, or even with the the 'same' intention/extent, each time... If Wahaj's character - Asad, was trying to hit on her or had found an interest in her, it didn't necessarily have to make him the 'tharki' that some or perhaps even many out of those 122 men had been. Aik Sau Thaeswan was attributed to him to simply mean that just like him, many others had also been 'ready' to marry Mehwish's character, were interested in her & wanted to pursue her. Not all of those 123 had to be the 'typical tharki typesss' that you're labeling Asad to be one of. Saying that Wahaj didn't fit that 'tharki' picture isn't a flaw that his portrayal had in projecting a 'tharki', but rather your lack in understanding that he didn't have to be like the kind of men that were after, let's say Geet in Jab We Met, when she's alone at night, near the train station. Wahaj's character didn't have to be a 'tharki', so to be disappointed in not seeing him as one, is just your own perception.

Bored of Mehwish Shehryar. Ramsha’s a nobody in films. Wahaj is just Murtasim hype. Hira Mani are jokers. No star pull in entire movie. Poor Shehryar, actually feel sad for him. Even in a 3 part movie, his was weakest.
Mehwish looks graceful and glamorous. I agree this Kurta pajama poetical look doesn’t suit Wahaj and doesn’t match the grace and glamour of Mehwish. It takes away from Wahaj’s overall appearance.Wahaj should try to get out of his comfort zone of the bechara and ‘chipku’ Saad. When he puts on a Murtasim Khan type persona his personality achieves the right balance. Unpopular opinion perhaps but that is what I think!

don’t be surprised if people didn’t watch teri meri kahaniya. i always support pakistani cinema because of the inflation we have to think thrice before spending our money on something. firstly, no one would like mehwish and wahaj’s couple and then cherry on top the story is written by khalil ur rehman (🤢iykyk🤢) i love wahaj ali and would like to see him on screen but didn’t watch this movie because of this reason first then the next story has mani and hira i strongly believe both of them are just drama actors hira mein toh koi baat nahi hai movie heroin ki no one would pay to watch her on screen honestly she should stick to her typical DO BOL roles. wahaj is a proper HERO he should be paired with a movie heroin (closer to his age) and then i think we all would watch the movie
Guys please don't spread negativity around your own movies. As per your conversation Teri Meri kahaniyaan is a disappointment. I have seen Teri Meri kahaniyaan in Islamabad. It was houseful show. Number of its shows was also good. Most of the people liked the film. Wahaj has box office pull and people watched movie because of him but movie was not completely focused on him and he had not typical hero role moreover movie has short film format so box office numbers may less.
I think teri meri kahaniya had a lot of stories so it could be off putting for people. And I also think that people want to entertain themselves so masala films get popular. I am not sure Carry on Jatta is masala or not but I think so it is.
Tv actors r good for tv shows , for films people want a filmy hero n heroine . Mani , hira mani ramsha don’t give a film actor vibes , i love wahaj in dramas OG fan but sorry to say even he doesn’t vibe like a filmy hero .

Same faces on TV and same faces in the movies, that's one of the reason that people are not going to the cinema. You cant put telly films in the cinema and expect people to pay and watch. Also audience have become more educated about content and good creative work via Netflix, and other entertainment mediums, therefore, they can differentiate good content from poor. Big names no longer guarantee, the footfall, this goes for worldwide cinema and not just Pakistan . Creative work and originality, will shine, and Pakistan needs a new breed of GOOD actors, male and female, just a pretty face, good body, or a connection with the industry is no longer guarantee for success, you have to bring a lot more to the table.
Emaan mentioned that a very good film but then advised don't go for watching it over cinema. Its a very big claim that its not a cinema film, and wait till it comes on TV. Very very confusing kind of review about teri meri kahaniyan
