Thank you for showing the possibilities for a small power bank This is perfect for me to use along side a solar panel to charge it up for free while I'm at work and to take out in the garden to use power tools instead of extension leads running from the house

It reminds me of the 3 day power cuts we had in the 70s. i fixed up a car battery with a 12v lamp so we could have lght. A Power staion would have been very useful back then.

I had never seen a power pack like this. For the price, it's worth a look, especially here in Cornwall. No power cuts for a while, but you never know.

"In any system of energy, Control is what consumes energy the most. Time taken in stocking energy to build an energy system, adding to it the time taken in building the system will always be longer than the entire useful lifetime of the system. No energy store holds enough energy to extract an amount of energy equal to the total energy it stores. No system of energy can deliver sum useful energy in excess of the total energy put into constructing it. This universal truth applies to all systems. Energy, like time, flows from past to future".

Now that's a topic I wasn't expecting to see here! During last winter, all of Ukraine experienced nationwide blackouts and power outages due to Russion attacks on power grid. Those charging stations became highly sought after commodity. I've managed to get myself a Bluetti one and not only powered my laptop for work, but a tabletop lathe from Proxxon too! What a time to be alive

As someone who’s be using portable battery backup system. I would highly recommend getting a larger battery. If you are really interested in keeping things running during a power outage. I have a Goal Zero Yeti 3000. It powered my French door fridge for 4 days before needing to charge. I would recommend getting an EcoFlow Delta Pro. That’s what I’m getting next. The power is there and the best feature of the unit is it fast charging. You can fully charge the unit from zero to 100 in 2.5 hours. That’s good when you are depending on it.

Larger is better of course if you want emergency back up for a long period but the one you reccomend is £3500. The one shown here here is only £149 with the discount code.

hello :) Can you tell me, before purchasing, if it is possible to leave it connected to the mains so that it recharges while leaving a USB device to charge? because some batteries do not allow you to power a device while recharging. thanks in advance ;)
@myfordboy
@myfordboy Год назад
Yes it will do that. I have just tried it check. You can use the USB and mains output whilst it is charging.

Good morning. I will come back to you after purchasing this product. when I leave it charging with the supplied charger, and at the same time use a device that consumes 15 watts, the station works well, but the battery slowly decreases, about 15% per day... I don't understand why . Is this normal and how to fix it? thanks in advance@@myfordboy

Hi. To increase the lifespan of the product, we do not recommend discharging the battery while charging.

@@myfordboy that’s ok for just two hours, but it will probably take longer to recharge up. I use Big Buddy Heater with a 20lb propane tanks and that last me for a few days on low off of one tanks. At 388 watt hours it may power a small 3d printer for 3 hours. Not really very useful for tool operations. Keeping an emergency radio, charging your phone or led lighting, great. Living offgrid my solar setup is 4.7kw charging 8 430 ah batteries. Will still need a generator for backup. If I lived ongrid the best part of these units, you can run them in the house and no noise. Long term outage you'll still need a generator or solar panels to charge the unit.
@65cj55
@65cj55 Год назад
It's not designed for off grid living, there's bigger units for that..
@roscoepatternworks3471
@roscoepatternworks3471 Год назад
@@65cj55that was kind of my point. By itself, it's about useless. It needs another source of power input to maintain its charge. So you can charge from car or grid power but for an extended period you'll want to add solar panels. At 300 watts it's just a novelty.
@65cj55

@@65cj55 i live offgrid so it's not much use to me. With the exception of camping. But for that I built my own system using a 50 ah battery, 2 60watt panels and a 500 watt inverter. Not in a nice case, but it works.

It’s really sad to see that almost every video this channel now puts out is some sort of advertisement for products received free for review. It’s got so bad that I now find myself simply ignoring most videos once I see the title is yet again showing off some piece of useless tripe. What happened to the days of cool casting vids or the vids where lots of lathe and milling work was carried out? Suppose this is the way of RU-vid now, viewers get bombarded with ads and then when we finally get to watching our favourite RU-vidrs we find that they are now also cramming tat, junk, useless rubbish down our throats. 🤬

@myfordboy Год назад
@Anon Caliga As I thought your channel has no videos so you do not realise how much time goes into making them. I never ask for you to subscribe, donate money or become a patreon. The occasional promotion make it wothwhile. The last 8 out of 10 videos have been casting and machining. i don't know what you are watching. No need to watch if you don't like my content, you will not be missed.
