Fun fact: That at the end was actually the 7-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher voicing the Ferrari and The King was voiced by Nascar racer Richard Petty who's real Nickname is "The King". Both characters are mostly based on their real life personalities.
That's real though lol..sadly. People get hrt in all types of accidents, but a celebrity? People act like their parent died even though they have zero relationship to the celebrity
maybe it was less noticeable that the culprit was chick since there were so many cars. it was kinda obvious in the last race since it was just 3 racers.
Fist rob was all about "out with old in with the NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" now since he like hudson his narrative changed to "You gotta respect your elders he's a classic" Rob really be killing me with those inconsistent ass comments 😂
If i had to guess a more logical reasoning as to why Lightning didn't just cross the line and then go back to help the King, it could be because he would've been disqualified anyways and therefore the win would be pointless. He was gonna violate a couple of rules there: first is that pushing on the last lap is illegal, the commentators even pointed this out. But i guess the committee decided to let it slide out of respect for what he did. Secondly, it's illegal to assist other cars in the race. Lightning pushing the King to finish his race would've violated the "no pushing on the last lap" and "no assisting other cars". But the real reason in the movie however was that the crash reminded Lightning of Doc Hudson's crash, and how it ended his career with a bad taste and how he eventually became bitter and hateful towards the sport because of it. Lightning didn't want that to happen again to the King, so he helped him. He atleast wanted the King to have a better closure to his career.
Well, there's only 3 cars in the race. Chick was right behind him, so if Lightning crossed the finish line, Chick would've been right there behind and the race would be over. The King would've just been there on the side, unable to finish the last race. By stopping before the finish line and letting Chick pass him, the race isn't done yet, so McQueen could then get behind The King and push him. The King crosses the finish line 2nd, and therefore got to finish his very last race.
@@loganbigmo I always just figured Lightning felt like the win wouldn't be a WIN. It would feel hollow after hearing what happened to Doc. And what happened to Doc, is a driving factor of his fear in cars 3 which is understandable.
Radiator Springs is in Arizona. the First Race of the movie was the Track called Bristol. and the Last Track was was in California call the Auto Club 400
Cars 2 is not a joke, it had a great animation and many suspences, I enjoyed how the movie showed about travelling around the world for races. But they didn't focus on McQueen which kinda annoyed me, also it's completely Action-packed, no such storyline.
little bit of a detail, lightning has that yellow rookie strip on his bumper. but if you also notice he tried to incorporate it into his design, insinuating that he sees himself as more than just a "rookie"
The history of the Hudson Hoenet down to the racing regalia is based in real life. They were the kings of Nascar from 51 to 54. The reason they stopped racing was because Hudson merged with another company the racing program scrapped and the Hudson brand was later discounted. One of the racer's after the Hornet was discontinued also sadly was in a career ending crash.
Also, people people think that NASCAR is just a you just go in circles but NASCAR over the past 4-5 years has quietly become one of the most versatile schedule in Motorsports. Yes they do oval racing for the majority of their schedule but an almost a fourth of their schedule is Road course racing like F1 now and they also run a street course on the streets of Chicago now, and in a exhibition race to start the season on a quarter mile track they build inside of the LA Coliseum. Also, in NASCAR you can make contact within reason (there are penalties if you go to far) and can block. A lot of the other motorsports you can’t. Also, because of that new schedule and a design of a new car that they are driving it’s brought an interest in drivers in other Motorsports to try it including F1 Champ Jensen Button and 3 time Supercar Champ Shane Vin Gisbergen. Jenson said that his experience in a Cup Car was one of the most fun things that he has ever done in his career and Shane actually liked the experience so much that he did a buyout of his contract of his Supercar team in Australia and coming to run full-time in NASCAR (going to run the xfinity series (NASCAR’s minor league series) full-time and 7 Cup races in his first NASCAR season to prepare him going full-time in Cup in 2025. Also, the new NASCAR schedule and the new car have brought new owners into the sport including Pitbull and Michael Jordan. Pitbull co-owns Trackhouse Racing with former Xfinity driver Justin Marks and Michael Jordan owns 23XI Racing with 3 time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin and both teams have had success as well. Actually Pitbull’s team was the runner-up to the Championship 2 years ago and have had 5 wins during their short existence and 23XI had both of their cars finish in the top ten in the points standings last season and has had 6 wins so far in their short time in NASCAR.
Cars: it's about racing. Cars 2: something to do with mistaken identity with Mator and some other spy type stuff (never watched it). Cars 3: it's about racing.
@@mosesgutierrez8744 yea I had to assume that must of been the reason why people didn’t like it because I don’t see the hate other then that and the random death of that other car
@@happythoughts8291If you watch Cars 2 without watching Cars 1, then you would like it, But as sequel of Cars 1, Cars 2 was out of topic, the movie has no justice for McQueen and his race, it doesn't felt like a sequel of Cars 1. More focused on his immature friend Mater, the two spies and travelling across the world. As a movie, it was good but when compared to Cars 1, the movie wasn't as expected as it should have been. However Cars 3 was a perfect sequel, it made sense.
