Mere dad ne isse si bhi buri snow road pe Maruti 800 chalayi hain. Bas ek baar fas gaye the kyonki baraf ke niche khadda tha. Aur hamein ek army ki gypsy ne bahar nikala tha. Its all about traction on the tyres, my dad is a very experienced driver and has driven on all kinds of roads and conditions. Most modern tyres are not meant for such conditions.

Himachli Guys are really helpfull. Small suggestion about making money-- Next year just buy plastic strips which can be locked quickly ,similar to the baggages at Airports,You will get special anti skid strips about 50 nos. in just 500 rupees. Any tourist can easily pay 3000--5000 rupees for the strips including fitment which takes 10 minutes. So wait for next year.
Brother I found your channel today. Very informative and polite. I like how you present what you have to say. Love from Assam. I'll be visiting soon on a Gypsy. Cheers!
Front wheel drive cars will always be better in snow..the engine weight is on the tyres so better grip and control over the car. Innova is bulky and tyres really puny for car that size. Its always easier to pull than push..cant beat physics...
Its more dangerous than it seams... Its a must to have snow tyres and a 4 wheel drive... To drive safely in these hills with snowy roads.... Message from a friend in West Eh ❄️
wow man. i really enjoy the way you are talking and having fun..Thank you for this wonderful post...god bless you man. i have been to manali in summer but, still i couldnt bear the cold man..
@@Travellersandy yes, i have lot of friends in manikaran, bhuntar and manali. i heard from them that the cold is unbearable. i told them come to hyderabad but, then they cannot bear the heat here.. its almost 30 degrees here in day time..hahaha
In India ppl don't buy winter tyres for winters they ride with stock tyre and think more power can pull them out rather than using torque .. and of course we buy 4*2 and still call it an SUV ..
Finally yea toh prooved hogaya ki chahe gariya kisi bhi company ka ho aur kitni bhi mehengi kyon nah ho jisse lekar log apni shaan samajhte Hain akhir "MARUTI SAB KA BAAP NIKLA" Aur Hamesha hi rahegi.
I want to Suggest That if we use a Good Car Cover then it is easy to remove snow, may be im worng cos i never in snow, please reply if any1 thinks it works :)
Just wondering why no one advised the Innova guy to drive in reverse instead, Rear Wheel Drive in reverse would act like Front Wheel Drive and usually Gear Ratio of First and Reverse are same. Any thought?
Snow chains are not used on little snow , snow chain should be used if snow sticks to road forming black ice, Moreover snow should be around one foot on road then only chains are helpful . For such tracks only reduce air in your tyres by 40 to 48 percent of recommended tyre pressure. That will do wonders
I guess saare gaadiyaan mein winter tyres lagi hogi....mein yeh soch raha tha ki tyres ke liye cover kyun nahi hai, jisme pins lagi hogi, taaki aaraam se snowy roads mein chale
Snow chains is quintessential or snow tyres. Had these cars had either of them then all this wouldn't have happened. In snowy conditions they should make it mandatory.
If one has to cross the roads which are covered in Snow, they've to come prepared with a few pairs of tangs so that they can tie to the Tires so that they can go with safety. ALWAYS ONE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THE UPCOMING TERRAIN EFFECTS
It’s to hard move vehicles from snow specially when you get challenges drive in snow road The snow in the hill stations can be removed by adding salt to the snow and letting it melt off. This is majorly because of a rule which lowers the melting point of the ice formed. So, even at negative temperatures where ice is formed, the ice gets melted because of the phenomenon.
